"The views are spectacular. The staff was very nice and the food is great, especially the breakfast. Unfortunately the cabins are dated, years in the furniture, missing utensils and no blackout curtains which made sleeping very hard during the midnight sun. Overall worth it for the location!"

Überall Risse und Beschädigungen, der Wind pfeift durch, Schimmel in der Dusche, beschädigte Elektronik, ziemlich schmutzig und unapettitlich. #beachtips If a wild camping paradise exists, it would be on Kvalvika Beach on the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This place can only be reached on foot, after doing a mountain hike, and is always packed with wild campers who come there to enoy the midnight sun. I shot this photo in July 2017, around midnight, when the sun was at its lowest point and shade was covering parts of the beach.
