Cozy little hotel in convenient central location. Room was large and comfortable, particularly by Italian standards. Everything seemed clean and well maintained (there was some construction in the main entrance stairway, but once inside everything was fine). Breakfast was typical, but not outstanding and staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

There is no elevator. The single room is somewhat dark. The building is not very modern but it is clean, and the location is excellent. The staff is also really friendly.

Staff were brilliant. Hotel was good value for what it was. Was naturally a bit loud being in the city. I had a single room but the bed was bigger than a single which was great. Shower was also good

This hotel is amazing good . Good located and staff friendly and helpful. Is a beautiful old house well maintained and with comfortable rooms . Good breakfast. They have water available all the time for the guests . Has a peruvian restaurant beside and many other restaurants and souvenirs shops . Without any doubts , I will stay there again if I back to Florence .

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Mario. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the washroom and bathroom were also very clean and well maintained. The hotel is in a great location, which made it very convenient for getting around. However, it was disappointing that there was no elevator (I guess the new elevator is coming) so we had to climb one flight of stairs. Overall, it was still a very good experience and a place I would recommend.

The location was perfect for us- the hotel was close to the train station, Galleria Academia, Piazza del Duomo, Uffizi Gallery. We love the daily breakfast! The lady in the kitchen is always smiling and making sure that we have a good breakfast. All the gentlemen at the desk are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and tidy each night we came home from our excursions.

This hotel is a great option if you want to stay within walking distance of the city centre. It’s conveniently located near the train station, and the breakfast is great. However, it’s important to note that the hotel is located on the second floor and doesn’t have an elevator.

My partner and I stayed for four nights and found the stay very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and on hand for any questions. The hotel had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
