Torre Lambertesca-FiorenTino, studio with big terrace over the roof of Florence

It 's a bright little loft studio on the sixth floor (with elevator) of a beautiful and charming tower house of the thirteenth century (Torre_dei_Rigaletti). The elevator goes up to the fifth floor and then there is a short flight of stairs.

The apartment is accessed by a small entrance; step after step Florence will appear in all its beauty. The apartment consists of a well equipped kitchenette, a dining table, a double bed, a sofa (which becomes a single bed) and a bathroom with shower. The view will take your breath away: the windows on three sides that open to the rooftops of Florence, the dome of the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Gardens, Forte Belvedere, bell towers and hills, allowing you to admire the splendor of Florence from above, in peace.

In the spacious terrace (approx. 25 square meters) you can spend lovely breakfasts, romantic aperitifs and unforgettable moments of relax; and in the summer you can also sunbathe! And it is the best location to explore the city: two steps from Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo and the main shopping streets; it is the ideal starting point to visit all the main cultural attractions of the city and discover the funniest details.

City tax is not included in the price and has to be paid at the check in: € 6,00 per person per day for a maximum of 7 days.

Cot available.

The presence of a flight of stairs inside the apartment makes it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.

Contract signature will be required at check in. Passport copies will be required at check in.
For all rentals from 21 days and more, utilities are additional and to be paid on consumption.

Wonderful deck area and view of the city, especially at night! Walking distance to many restaurants, museums and attractions. Very small and steep entry way steps into the apartment, which was fine for us, but might be challenging for others, especially carrying luggage. Older apartment.

Location was spectacular. In between the Ponte Vecchio and the Ufizzi. So easy to get almost anywhere. And the huge balcony had views of Florence in almost every direction.

First Florian experience

Oh my word. What a sweet spot. From the moment we were met at the doors by the host to show us around; to the easy check out. Our time was so special. The views are incredible. The spot is so quaint and special. It is literally steps away from some of the most beautiful views. We were so well taken care of by our host it truly made us feel so welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this place! (Must be able to do stairs without a problem)

Honeymoon getaway

This is the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed at, the pictures don’t do it justice with that view. And everything is so historical and cozy. Host responded immediately to any concerns or questions we had and were very thorough. Overall can’t complain about a gem.

Such a view

We had a great stay. The weather, despite being late December, allowed for us to eat on the lovely terrace. The beds were super comfortable. Besides being well-situated for the view of the Duomo and other monuments, the apartment is in a great spot for walking, dining (fine and takeout) and sightseeing. Thanks!

View & Location

Can't beat the view or location! The patio is a great bonus. We didn't feel guilty about staying in for dinner and wine the night we were exhausted because we had the patio which allowed us to continue to see and listen to the city while we stayed in.

Rooftop

We loved this place! The private rooftop space is perfect- so nice to be above the city with gorgeous views and privacy. The apartment’s location is smack in the middle of the most touristy part of Florence, but the apartment with its private deck offered a great getaway and respite from the bustle of the street. A great value. Our hosts were very responsive and attentive. The communication was a bit awkward: we had very little Wi-Fi to email on the Vrbo site, so used Whatasapp and were never really sure who we were talking to! But all the minor issues we raised with them were quickly taken care of. Highly recommend.

Florence With A View

Place was a little small and a little shabby and don’t expect to take too many hot showers. But ideal location and incredible view made it all worthwhile. Paula made check-in super easy and was amazingly helpful. Overall a great stay!

Wow, what a view.

Lovely place with a spectacular terrace and view. Communication with the landlord was excellent throughout. Loads of help checking in, orienting ourselves etc. Only complaint is that we could not get the washing machine to work.

Great Views

The check in process was really easy. I failed to bring cash for the tax portion of the fee so make sure to do so. The apartment is small but very functional. The balcony is SUPER - you can see views all over the city and a great place to have your lunch or dinner. If I visited Florence again I would love to stay in this apartment.

A great stay!

The studio apartment was in the absolute best location! It was an easy walk to all of the main attractions in Florence, in addition to many great places to eat. The terrace offered an incredible view of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio.

Schönes Florenz, mittelmäßige Unterkunft

Unterkunft liegt zentral, das Bad riecht übel, da in den Abflussrohren kein Geruchsstop eingebaut ist. Küche ist sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, Gardinen sind zum Teil aus der Schiene gerissen, was einen sehr lodderigen Eindruck hinterlässt. Wäschetausch war ok, wenn man außer Acht lässt, dass die zuständige Person ohne zu klopfen oder zu klingeln im Zimmer stand. Da das Sonnensegel für die Terrasse fehlte , kontaktieren wir die zuständigen Personen. Auskunft war, dass man beim Besitzer der Wohnung nachfragen muss. Bis zum Ende des Urlaubs leider zu dem Thema nichts mehr gehört . Insgesamt sehenswerte Stadt, Unterkunft gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Excellent Location - Great for a romantic stay. A bit rustic!

We loved our 8 day stay here. The location was easily the best part because seeing Florence can be hot and tiring. We were almost never more than a few minutes walk away, so we were able to take frequent breaks throughout the days. This alone was SO valuable. The A/C was also very powerful so it was great for cooling off after a hot day of sightseeing. The kitchen was well-stocked although we didn't use it. The toilet and shower are a touch on the rustic side, but we didn't mind. Everything worked well. Hot water was plenty hot, but the water would be just warm intermittently due to being on the 7th floor. This really wasn't a problem for us, especially since it was so hot outside. Elevator is small, and there are some narrow steps after the elevator. It could be a little challenging if you have mobility issues or when moving large bags in/out. Hosts were easy to work with and shared some good recommendations, but overall we felt like we had our own private rooftop flat for a week. We loved it!

Tolle Lage. Das beste ist die Terrasse. Da sieht man auch darüber hinweg, dass man aus dem eigentlichen Studio noch mehr machen könnte. Gemütlich fanden wir es dennoch. Auf der Terrasse sollte man jedoch die Putzuntensilien in einem Schrank oder ähnlichem verstecken.

Great location!

I stayed here with my 15 and 18 year old kids, and they were quite enamored with the charm and authentic feeling of this apartment. Let’s talk pros and cons. Pros- best possible location. You’re 4 min walk from a grocery store, two self serve restaurants just downstairs, the Ponte Vechio is a half block away. Everything is walkable. We even walked the 15 min to the train station with our luggage. The only time we took a taxi was to go all the way out to the bus station. Also, the balcony is amazing. The sunsets up there were gorgeous. We loved sitting outside having wine and taking in the breathtaking sights! Look left for Piazzale Michaelangelo, and look right for the duomo, and they are right there! Lastly, the check in was easy, and the property manager very nice. He gave us a map and shared all the best sights. He was quick to respond if I texted through the app. And the apartment was clean. Cons- Well, the apartment is dated and some of the maintenance isn’t kept up. For example, the sliding doors don’t lock. That made me nervous. The property manager said it’s been like that for 12 years and nobody can access the balcony from the outside, but I didn’t feel secure. The toilet rocks back and forth when you sit on it. The hot water goes in and out during the shower. The only clothes closet doubles as a maintenance/storage closet. It could definitely stand some updating. But overall, we would stay again. It felt like we lived here, just for a minute, and we loved it!
