"This is a lovely jewel of an inn, with a convenient Columbia MD location. Nice staff. Reasonably priced. Rooms are large and comfortable."

"Good cafe selections for breakfast with a relaxing lake view. Overall good stay. Sheets need to be refrshed / checked closer between uses for wear and tear, stains, etc. Bathroom could have been cleaner (shower head spray, base of toilet, mirrors) "

"We stayed in a junior suite, it was ok. The shower had zero to no pressure. We were situated next to some kind of machinery or pipes, we heard clanking, rumbling, humming all night. With small children the sudden noises were not ideal. The staff was very pleasant though."

"I was expecting a hot tub or at least a tub in my room however there was neither however that could be me not looking properly so just make sure to call and ask if you also need a bathtub "

"Gym and laundry were fine, people were nice. Place was in construction and dirty w the doors open to the outside next to my door the whole time.i couldn’t sleep bc i could hear the next door guests snoring through the walls and then the upstairs guests was very loud at 5:15am. Everything was worn out walls chairs carpets. It felt aweful trying to get to my hotel room while passing construction workers in the building the entire time."

"We had such a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and you can feel the history when you walk in. It’s very close to Ellicott City which has so much to do.The house was clean, check-in/out was easy. The host provides books and board games. We can’t wait to stay again!"
