"My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. We went at the perfect time because the river was flowing just right so we did a lot of tubing and kayaking. My advice would be to bring some good hard bottom crocs or tennis shoes since the rocks hurt our feet with regular water shoes. The house had all of the kitchen necessities we needed to cook and we used the bbq pit every night on the porch. The bathroom inside the house was very big and cool with the ac in it. We loved having the washer and dryer to wash our wet clothes and towels each night. The entire house was very clean and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back next summer. It was so relaxing and just what we needed for a good family vacation. The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. Definitely a 5 star review!!!"

"The house is spacious, well maintained, and very clean. We have rented this house more than once. It's very comfortable and its location in the resort is awesome. It's a quiet neighborhood full of friendly people. All of our communication with the homeowner was excellent. He is very courteous, polite, and accommodating. We visit the fort at least once a year and will continue to rent this home as long as it's available. Awesome experience. "
