"Check in was easy, our dog was only an extra $10. There is a full size fridge, and a hotplate, plates, cups, cutlery. Nice. The beds were a little stiff by my standards. They're new, though. Lots of parking. Walmart is next door."
"When we checked in the room they gave us had 2 queen beds. I went back to the desk as I had booked a king size bed. The front desk clerk said he would see if he could upgrade us to the King. He did but I also wasn’t not going to be as this is what I booked and paid for. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast is over to early. 6am to 9am. I’m not an early riser. The place needs some maintenance. A bit run down. Yes it’s an old place as I did swim in that pool back when I was a kid and lived in The Fort. I would still recommend the place."
"The location and property were excellent. The host seemed to be unwilling to talk to us when we could not locate the property. We called the number offered and the recording said it was a text only line. We texted the line with no response for some time. We called VRBO and they had trouble reaching the host as well. We eventually (one hour) found the location which is listed entirely wrong on the website. The website shows the property in Ft Frances just across the intl bridge when in fact the property is some 18 miles east of town. It was quite frustrating to not have access to the host and lack responsiveness as well. Once we were in the property, everything was great. Very nicely accommodated and well maintained."
"We had a lovely time at Robert's cabin. Highlights of ours were jumping off the deck into the cold water with our kids and listening to the loons as the sun set. We were able to get groceries in Fort Francis and cooked most of our meals at the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Recommend!"
