Crater Lake Gateway - Highway 140

Crater Lake Gateway - Highway 140

8/10 Good
"A no frills place to stay with friendly, helpful staff, and a clean room (needing some maintenance) that felt safe (important to a single woman staying alone). The walls are somewhat thin (I think I might have kept the person above me awake by watching TV until midnight), and the traffic sounds can be loud as the two-story building is right on the road but traffic seemed to die down later in the evening (and I was there on Saturday night, might be more quiet during the week). The bath towels were quite fluffy! Wifi was included. 2 or 3 restaurants are close by and their little market, on site, was well stocked."

"I was staying while visiting Crater Lake. Property is somehow hidden and in an hour drive from the National Park, and better suits for local activities. (I was booking last minute.) Bed was satisfactory, but linens smelled intensely of some perfumed detergent - if it's important for your allergies, try to find another place. You can sit on a porch and look at office plus local lake - not a bad view."

"Our stay at Hattie's was Great! The house was very clean and quiet. The location was fantastic and truly felt like our own little hideout tucked away from everything. It is very close to Crater lake and was a perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking. Our host Leah was fun, friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book Hattie's again the next time we are in the area."

"The property was great! Very clean, nice breakfast, good access to water for our water bottles, and we enjoyed the hot tub and fitness center. Wish the staff could have accommodated a cheaper second room for us (when my first night with my snoring mom was a trial :)); it was a bit of a bummer to be told I needed to pay max rates when the hotel still had 15% capacity left and I’d already paid for another room… but that’s the way it goes during peak season, I guess! Otherwise, great stay."
