So much room with so much fun!

We had a great experience staying here at this house that was much larger than it appears. Everything was very clean and fully stocked. We had everything we needed and more! We relaxed by the pool most of our trip because we found it to be even better than the beach. It’s a perfect location, away from the crowds but an easy bike ride to so many restaurants and the beach. Just a few blocks from Publix as well.

Friend vacay

Easy checkin process, the house was very clean and a well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of beach supplies. Chairs, umbrellas, wagons and even a rolling cooler. The pool was also a nice spot to relax and cool down. The house isn’t far from the grocery store and many restaurants. It was a perfect spot for an easy relaxing stay.

Wonderful!

Just returned from a week at John and Stacy’s home. Our 4th or 5th time (can’t remember which) staying there. Would highly recommend. The property is very well maintained both inside and out. Short walk to the beach and short drive to Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.

Amazing place

This house was an awesome spot for our family vacation. It was a beautiful home with absolutely everything we needed for the house and the beach. Great communication with the host as well. Extremely close to the beach! Would stay again!

Beautiful home close to everything

Beautiful ranch style home, on quiet walkable street, close to everything. Home was very clean and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed many of the owner's recommendations for local restaurants and activities which were all wonderful. Amazing pool and outdoor area was very private. House was perfect for our group. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect location, walking distances to everything: stores, restaurant, beach, etc

The owners were extremely friendly and congenial, the home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a blended group of people of all ages. The house is actually bigger then realized in the pictures, and they provided amenities for every need: beach items (chairs, wagon, etc), bicycles, and more! Perfect place for divers, and so many other activites.

Great house close to the beach!

This was a great house for our extended family long weekend get together. It had everything we needed (chairs, sand toys, beach towels, etc.) for our trips to the beach (which was within walking distance easily for the four year old even), had a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely pool. There were also inflatables and pool toys for the kids, as well as a high chair and pack 'n play. John was easy to communicate with and consistently responded in a very timely way to questions. We definitely enjoyed staying here!

One of our best vacations with family and friends.

John was an amazing host went beyond to show us around and let us check in early. This place had everything you can think of for a beach vacation. Had everything in the house from kitchen, beach, and pool. It was really nice to swim in the pool after a beach day. I think that’s the best part. The house was very clean and set up perfect to your comfort. We all had plenty of room. There were 9 of us. Still didn’t feel crowded at all. So glad we picked this place. We will come back. Great House, fun beach town

The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Check in and out were super easy, and had thorough directions on process, which I appreciate. The open floor plan kitchen/dining/living room area was a great gathering space. The pool was clean and had sun all day. The tiki hut was a fun hangout spot. The beach is a short walk over the waterway and was very clean. The house had a wagon and all the beach items we needed. The restaurants and bars along the beach have a fun chill vibe, with a lot of live music. There are also a lot of great restaurants right outside the neighborhood, and a Publix supermarket you can walk to. It’s easy to get to from FLL airport - our first time in Pompano Beach and we loved it. We met so many great locals, and have a lot of funny memories - already trying to figure out dates for a girls trip to the house

Hidden gem completely remodeled!!

My family and I were looking for a getaway near the beach and stumbled across this property in Pompano Beach. We were one of the first families to book so we were a bit skittish as there were no reviews yet posted. On the day of our arrival (check in was at 4), we arrived early and contacted John and Stacey, owners of the property. They were kind enough to let us check in a few hour early and greeted us at the property. They were delightful, informative and in no way pushy! They gave my husband, kids and I a tour of the property and showed us a bunch of the 'little touches' they had thoughtfully provided. John was happy to provide restaurant recommendations as well as things to do. We were BLOWN AWAY by the house. Completely remodeled from the master bathroom to the tiki hut in the back yard. To say we were pleased is an understatement. The kitchen was equipped with a full compliment of cooking gear as well as some staples (coffee, sugar, etc.). There were 8 of us in our group and we never felt as if we were 'on top of each other'. The kids (OK, me too!!) loved the heated private pool in the back yard and we played many games of foosball as well. The garage has a washer and dryer, great for the beach and pool towels provided. Beach gear provided as well, including a wagon and cooler for the beach. The beach is a 5 minute walk and we took full adavantage, heading there everyday. We ate out at different restaurants (have to try the Key West Cuban Cafe for a Cubano) and loved the peaceful vibe from the Pompano Beach folks. We are planning on booking this place again next spring or late summer. Thanks again to Stacey and John for shaing this house and providing our family with a much needed and memorable vacation! See you again!

While the home was very well kept and nicely decorated, our experience was sadly not as expected.

The owner met us at the home when we checked in (which I have never experienced before) & seemed very upset at the # of guests, & the fact that we had children with us. He told us that 8 people was the maximum allowed. We were worried that we had somehow misread the listing and felt bad that we were accidentally breaking the rules. However, when I went back and reviewed the listing, it clearly states that the home can “comfortably accommodate up to 10 adults”. Naturally, if a home explicitly lists that it holds 10 adults, we anticipate that 6 adults plus children won't be a problem, since the children are small and share beds. Nowhere in the listing did it say that it was illegal to have above a certain # of people in the home, & we certainly weren't trying to accommodate more people than the home was meant for, or so we thought. The owner mentioned several times that if we made excess noise, the police would come, and they would count the # of people we had in the home. This was very intimidating, and quite excessive we thought, since we were a family of middle aged & older adults and young children - definitely not prime suspects for loud parties or "excess noise" after hours. You have to walk along a very busy road in a not so nice area of town in order to get to the beach which is not safe to do with children. The neighborhood was not very nice. The neighbor’s children came into the front yard & were trying to open our car doors (thankfully we had locked them) then they proceeded to vandalize the chains at the end of the driveway. We told them to go away & even spoke to their father but it made no difference. Also there are chains blocking ½ of the driveway so if you have children who want to play ball or frisbee in the yard, think again. Be advised that there are long lists of rules & regulations posted throughout the home (even taped inside the kitchen cabinets!) as a constant reminder of what you are expected to do in the home. This definitely DID NOT give vacation vibes at all. I never like to leave negative reviews of a business without first giving the owner an opportunity to discuss the issues. I raised my concerns about our stay with the host personally, first. He responded by dismissing my concerns and accusing us of leaving the home "a mess", despite our family painstakingly following the check out list & all the things we were expected to do before leaving. I asked him to please describe the mess we left and I got no reply.

Perfect for our family, good location and close walking distance to beach. Area is quiet and family friendly, Pompona beach area is very nice, clean, family friendly and has just enough restaurants and activities for a great vacation/getaway. The house had everything we needed, clean and was ready for us when we arrived. The hosts were very responsive and communication excellent. Would stay again, recommend it! Thank you.

This space was comfortable, relaxing and perfect for our adult family of 5. The beach was close, lots of restaurants near by, without the congestion and grittiness of being surrounded by high rises. We loved the pool as well. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for our use in the garage. Absolutely perfect!

Wonderful stay

Thanks again for a beautiful stay. House was clean and very comfortable. Has every utensil you would need for cooking /barbecuing , he was also kind enough to leave two propane tanks for the barbecue! Located in a quiet neighborhood that is near some top notch dining. Pool is beautiful:)! Great place to have a family vacation. Great communication with the property owner , they will go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Heaven in Pompano Beach

This house is even better in person than the pictures show. In addition to the great layout- particularly the outside back pool, garden, amnd tiki hut area- the kitchen is fully stocked not only with dishes, silverware, pots, pans and bowls, but anything else you could imagine, including many spices. John and Stacy are great hosts. The best part for us was to have such a beautiful house in such a perfect location. In addition to bars, restaurants, publix and other stores within walking distance, we walked over the intercoastal to the beach whenever we went there. We have already rented for a month next year. It was perfect for four of us with room for guests when they came!

Absolute Paradise

This property was exactly as the listing described. The pool and tiki area were heavenly. The house was immaculate. The hosts supplied all items you could want for a day at the beach. They communicated to make sure we had all we needed, and to make recommendations regarding restaurants. This was a child free trip for me, my husband, my sister, and brother-in-law. I would love to book again and bring my grandchildren. A five star experience from start to finish.

Pompano Family Vacation

This house is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The rooms are well taken care of and everything was updated nicely. I liked that someone had labeled where to put the dishes and items after washing them. The beach chairs and towels saved us a lot of space when packing. The location is super convenient to Publix (which has a garage to park in!), places to go for a drink and eat, the beach, etc. We have been to the area but never stayed. This house allowed us to check out some new places and visit other locations that we love in the area. The walk is about 10 minutes to the beach which saves a lot of money in parking. There was lots of space for our 2 families (8 people - 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 pre-teens) to congregate at meal times and in the evening, but also enough space to spread out. The pool was great, and the kids named the iguanas that stopped by periodically. I can't thank John enough for delivering such a great place for our vacation!!

40th birthday sisters trip
