2-bedroom A-frame house in beautiful oasis, Fort McCoy.

  • Do you love to play in nature but still have our creature comforts? This A frame in the Ocala National Forest is the spot.

    There are 2 springs both 5 minutes from the house, Salt Springs & Silver Glen Springs. Beautiful Juniper Springs, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all a hop, skip, and jump away.

    This fully loaded A frame is stocked with a shed full of fishing gear. Mosey down to the boathouse and try your luck fishing right in the backyard at the canal.

    There is a blue notebook under the coffee table with general information. It includes the springs which there are TWO Salt and Sliver Glen either way from house not more than 10 minuets.
    The small town of Salt Springs has a little restaurant, bait shop, grocery store, ice cream stand, Dollar General, and a Subway at the gas station. Palatka and Silver Springs are about 20-30 minutes away for shopping.
    I like going to Silver Springs-Ocala for shopping and eating out. Mount Dora is a great town to visit as well. They have a HUGE flea market on the weekend. Great restaurants and shops, love this town!

It was an amazing experience. The house was charming, clean, and as rare a gem I'd hoped. It is the moat unique house in the neighborhood and for the duration of our stay we existed in a world all our own. It was a joy and the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

Host was welcoming and immediately took care of any requests. This is the perfect place to explore Florida springs. The views from the windows were gorgeous, especially on cold early mornings with a cup of coffee. One minor suggestion is that the light switches in the kitchen and the main hanging light were a little difficult to find so it will really help if they were labeled with bright markers. Also the ground floor bedroom can do with some additional lighting.

Such an amazing stay! Julie was super accommodating, kind and timely in dealing with me and I felt the home lived up to the pictures which is something I had concerns with with this being my first VRBO. I couldn’t be happier, I spent almost my entire stay in the home and had plenty of space and changes in environment in just one home which made the work I was doing so much more manageable. Thank you again, Julie for a great experience from start to finish

Host was lovely. Replied promptly to all texts. House was clean and tidy. All bed linens and towels smelled freshly washed. It was farther out than what we intended but with better planning very doable. Publix was over 30 minutes out.Great place to unwind and relax. Coffee on the deck was lovely at 6am.
