"Overall this was a nice hotel that was conveniently located around the corner from the Metro Rail. Staff were super friendly and helpful. A couple cons to this stay, was the rooms are in need of a freshen up/maintenance as wallpaper was separating at the seems. Also, we encountered numerous individuals begging for money outside the hotel each time we were coming and going."

"I cant say enough good things about our stay. Check in is done virtually but someone is there to help, it was not difficult at all. The tablet to controsl your room was super easy to use. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and the food at the bar was good as well. Room is on the small side that didn't bother us at all we liked it. View from the roof top bar is nice, and the location is awesome its so close to everything. We road the metro alot , metro station was very close and we always felt safe in the area even late at night. The costumer service is exceptional. If we ever go back to DC area or anywhere there is a citizen M we will definitely stay."

"Overall the hotel is good. The lobby, bar and food area is clean large and provides various types of seating. I don't like the self check in part. Just feels like I'm doing the front desk staffs job for them without the time savings that you get from self checkout at a grocery store. The rooms are very compact so it feels like you're in a cruise ship cabin. I don't think the rooms have enough space for 2 people to live within the space outside of sleeping. So if you are coming in to just sleep and be outside, this is a decent spot. If you are solo traveler, this is a great spot. I didn't do the breakfast but I heard it is pretty good. The gym is pretty but also just a regular hotel gym. Pro-tip...try to get the 2nd floor rooms on the courtyard side - nice view."
