Mermaid: Poolside Mornings & Beach Walks

Summary:
A morning swim before breakfast, a beach walk after lunch, and a king bed waiting at the end of the day. Mermaid is a ground-floor poolside apartment for four, with a private entrance and a shared heated pool about 20 steps from the door.

Beach access is one block away. An equipped kitchen, queen sleeper sofa, shared beach gear and free community laundry give you the comforts to make the island feel like your own for a while.

The Space:
At Mermaid, the pool can be your first stop of the morning. It is about 20 steps from your private ground-floor entrance, with chairs and loungers for time between swims. Beach access is just one block away when you are ready for the sand.

Bring breakfast to the table for four, pack lunch in the equipped kitchen, and leave the rest of the day open. The king bedroom and queen sleeper sofa accommodate up to four guests, with two bathrooms adding convenience when everyone is getting ready.

After your island outings, share a meal in the community picnic area or settle onto the sofa for a show. The pool, outdoor facilities, beach gear and laundry are shared with other Inn guests.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The bedroom has a king bed with a memory foam mattress, upgraded linens and room-darkening shades. A walk-in closet and clothing storage give you room to unpack.

The living-room sofa opens into a queen bed. The apartment sleeps up to four guests.

BATHROOMS
There are two bathrooms. The remodeled main bathroom has a walk-in shower and vanity storage. A hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body soap are provided.

KITCHEN & LIVING
Start with coffee, cook breakfast or put together a picnic for the beach. The renovated kitchen has a stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, coffee maker and cooking basics. The dining table seats four.

Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom give you a choice of places to settle in for the evening.

POOL & OUTDOOR DINING
Guests share the heated pool, landscaped garden, outdoor furniture, picnic and grilling areas. Pull up a poolside chair between swims or bring dinner outdoors to the shared tables.

Free community laundry and shared beach chairs, wagons and coolers help make beach days simpler.

Guest Access:
Your apartment and ground-floor entrance are private to your stay. Around the Inn, you can use the shared heated pool, garden, outdoor dining, picnic and grilling areas.

Beach chairs, wagons and coolers are available for shared guest use, and community laundry is free. Free parking is available on the premises. A Pack ’n Play travel crib and child high-chair booster are also available.

The Neighborhood:
Walk one block to the beach for sand, sea air and an evening along the Gulf. Mermaid sits near a quiet street, with local restaurants and shops close by.

Times Square is under a mile away when you want more dining and island activity. Between outings, the apartment gives you a comfortable place to come back to without leaving the beach neighborhood behind.

Getting Around:
Getting around Fort Myers Beach is easy! The beach is just a 1 block away, perfect for a quick walk.

For exploring the island, consider renting bicycles or a fun golf cart. Free parking is available on the premises for your convenience.

Under 1 mile to Times Square where you will find various restaurants and bars for your enjoyment. Free Island tram stops one block away for easy transportation.

Service goes from 8am-11:30pm daily November to April. A tram should come by approximately every 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Other Things to Note:
The pool, laundry, grilling areas and beach equipment are shared. The existing dog policy allows up to two quiet, friendly dogs weighing 50 lb or less, with a $200 non-refundable pet fee.

Quiet hours and pool closure are 10 PM–8 AM. Only registered guests are permitted, and the minimum booking age is 25. Check-in begins at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. See the full house rules for all requirements.
