We loved our stay at this unique hotel. Staff were excellent, the extras throughout the hotel were very good. The room was comfortable, and we loves the front desk area with murals, books and a very rustic feel

Pool was closed, but the property is great. They have their own dogpark. The shower was amazing and room was clean. The bed could have been more comfortable, it was quite firm. We had a noisy neighbor blaring music and the staff shut it down immediately. Really decent free breakfast and good wifi. Pet friendly too!

I stay here for a week or more each summer because it’s across the street from Eel River Brewing Company. The staff has remained consistent and professional over the years and the upgraded beds and other property improvements is always a nice thing to see.

Quite old, strange colors of everything. Brown sheets, off-white pillowcases, red velvet blanket. Metal outdoors furniture inside the room - black color. Everything looked old and mismatched. The TV is tiny. But the water pressure was really good. The water itself is a very good quality. Free parking available- that’s good.

The hotel is great. They have a nice dog area in the back as we always travel with our pups. They were accommodating. Unfortunately the people above us were extremely obnoxious sliding furniture all night and dropping them slamming things.

Hotel is average at best but definitely Botique class. Had reservations yet could not check-in until 3 PM. Room did not have water glasses forcing us to drink water from the tap with our hands. T.V. had no instruction and card showing the available channels. Continental breakfast however was very good.

Overall, the room and the property were well maintained and clean. I was disappointed when I saw that the pool was closed upon arrival at the motel. There was no mention of this closure at the time of the room reservation. I was also surprised by an early check in fee.

Property looks nice if ur looking for old style decor, it does need a little more care in the rooms, but the outside was very cute LOVED the patio decorations the front desk was old style aswell but the restroom does need a little makeover but over all we only stayed over night heading back yo LA.

The rooms are VERY dated. Our sheet had a small rip in it. Plastic chairs and what looked like an outdoor metal table with two matching chairs, which should not be used inside a hotel room, but perhaps on a Patio. It had the world smallest TV and a very uncomfortable mattress. The outdoor pet area was a small place all covered in rocks and pebbles., which was not comfortable to walk on. My dog didn't even want to step on it. I guess the room was clean, but since everything looked so old and overused, it seemed grubby. They called the hotel " A Boutique Hotel"!! Perhaps because of the murals in some of the hallways. I gave the hotel 2 stars, because the staff was very friendly and helpful, otherwise it would have been 1 star. I definitely would not stay at the Redwood Riverwalk again.

Spacious room, well priced and dog friendly. Good for a night stop and close to a brewery/restaurant. They have a very nice courtyard area with tables and chairs and a fenced dog area. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming.

The room was very clean and renovated, but lacked a bit of warmth in the decor. We would’ve loved to have used the courtyard, but it was raining so hard we couldn’t. The dog area needs maintenance. On top of all of that there was a party outside in the evening and when we went out the next morning, someone had gotten sick in front of our door, which was not too pleasant. The gentleman at the front desk was very quick to come and clean it up when I told him about it.

Room was nice and staff was very helpful and polite. I like this place except for the large trucks and semi's parking next door and all over the road in front. Some were really loud. I know the property cannot do anything about this but wanted to mention it.

Not sure what "boutique" hotel meant for this property. Older hotel property? We had to have our sheets changed out as the sheets had cat or dog hair. Staff gave us the optopn of moving so I want to give staff credit for being proactive. Room was clean. Male staff had a knife on his hip, wasn't sure if that meant it wasn't a safe place to stay.
