Comfortable beach bach with a cozy wood fire. Lovely spot close to Foxton beach with a large yard and deck. Hosts were very helpful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend break in Foxton beach

A great little bach close to beach (700 m walk) with all you need (and more). Clean and tidy with good instructions. Foxton (close by) has a supermarket, and some interesting shops, cafe's and activities, but i most enjoyed the Lewis Farms visit for yummy Strawberries and ice cream!

Great deck and location.

Spent a bit of time indoors due to terrible weather but that's where the best part of this house came in, the large covered deck. Outside table was great for groups (and in our case, boardgames). Could also bbq undercover out of the rain. Coffee machine was a nice bonus too.

From first enquiry Emma was super helpful and understanding with our questions and requests, that alone is enough for a 5star review. House was perfect for our family and to host Christmas lunch with extended family, we really enjoyed our stay and we’d 100% stay here again in a couple years time when where back down for Christmas

Great amenities and location

The property had everything you could need and was great for two families with young children. We loved the covered outdoor table and access to the bbq. Location was great with a short walk to the cafe/bar, beach and walks. There is a power box heading into a bedroom with the corner sitting right at head height which one of us was victim to! We also felt the shower which had a shower dome needed a good scrub.

The place is as described. A great weekend retreat. Private and well equipped. Very close to the beach. Only grumble is the cleaning fee as there was an odour in the property (a stale smell from previous smoking/woodburner use) that persisted unfortunately.
