"Owners very helpful and pleasant. Ample parking and short walk to accommodation. Dinner was excellent both in choice and presentation and taste, Breakfast there was a lot of various choices and again cooked fresh to order. Overall an excellent venue."
"A lovely hotel with lots of different comfortable seating areas. Fantastic food and lovely rooms. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and the surrounding area. "
"Absolutely gorgeous stay! Would definitely return and recommend to others. Would just like to see more option on the menu in the barn. A pasta and/or steak dish would be great. "
"A lovely stay in a peaceful environment, nice spacious rooms easy parking, good walks. Great breakfast choice,
one improvement would be a good coffee machine in breakfast room, "

"We had a wonderful stay in the Shephards Hut at the White Horse. The experience genuinely surpassed my expectations. The Hut itself is very high quality, and the amenities were great. A very well furnished kitchenette enabled us to cook a hearty breakfast - with all of the ingredients for a fry up provided for us in the fridge! A very lovely experience, and our dinner in the pub on the day of our arrival was very good too!"
"we stayed in the thyme shepherds hut for 2 nights.
unfortunately upon arrival we found that the toilet leaked from the waste pipe and had spewed sewage into the bathroom.
this was raised with stay in Suffolk who said they would find someone to sort it out ,they didn't instead we had to use the fuel station which is miles away and with a heavily pregnant wife and this being a last holiday before our baby arrived it was hell.
awoke to an email the next morning saying we could use one of their other accommodations bathroom but this would be limited as it would be let out later in the day ,a plumber had to attend whilst we were out in this process the plumber had used all of our toilet roll I assume cleaning up and we were hesitant to use the towels as they were not where they were left.
as a buisness owner myself I gave them the chance to rectify this before I left a review their only offer was to extend our check out time wholly useless .
as for check out times it is at 5pm an absolute joke and to not have a small unit like this ready by then and checked is unprofessional.
other things to note-
•games room is dated and rubbish
•fire hazard fridge overheating in sealed cupboard "
"The cottage was a modern cosy cottage with all amenities that you could ask for, modern bathroom and kitchen with everything you could need for a short or long stay, the bedrooms were of a nice size, both doubles. Good internet access and a tv in livingroom and bedrooms. The nice touches i also liked where towels left for us and milk, eggs, bread, crisps and chocolate and also tea, coffee and sugar...they had thought of everything. The garden/patio area was lovely, comfortabe seating and canopy...fields to the right and left of the garden with beautiful sunsets, didnt get up early enough to see the sunrise...also a very peaceful setting...beautful. "
"Fabulously equipped property with lovely character and a homely feel. The garden areas were perfect for the children and the added touch of outdoor and indoor games to play kept them occupied whatever the weather. Great base to get out and about exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The pictures don’t do the property justice, it has everything you need and more! The owners live next door; it was lovely to meet them, the welcome treats and flowers set on the kitchen windowsill were a kind and thoughtful touch. "
"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. "
"Cute and clean with basic but adequate facilities. Would be better if they mowed a path through the grass from the parking to the hut. Even with a torch I turned my ankle in the long grass in the dark. The bed was very hard and on a bit of a slope. Otherwise good "
