Outdated but fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was perfect. Bed and room was simple but super comfy. Pool was small but water was nice and warm and sauna plus steam room was a good option. Overall we were very happy. Not luxurious but felt very comfortable and had all amenities easily accessible, very easy comfortable stay

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Quiet room, with air con. Easy location for train into Frankfurt. Only 2 issues - restaurant and bar closed on Sunday. Also, asked for room payment on check out, despite having paid through Expedia in advance. I have now sent evidence of this to the hotel, and expect to receive a refund.

As a Hotels.com VIP hotel you would expect better service. Booked was a room with double bed however, only a room with single beds was available. "free room upgrade if available" was included in this booking. Not really appropriate when you don't even get what you have booked.

The walls were covered in dirt and smears it was actually disgusting, looks like the walls have never been cleaned. The rug had stains and the fridge didn't work. No AC, despite the windows having stickers saying don't open there is an AC. We did ask about this and were told we could open the windows because there's no AC but there would be bugs. Staff were very friendly though.

We spent all of 25 minutes in the hotel. Ten of them were spent finding another hotel to move to. Ten of them were spent the two times we were waiting for our turn at the desk (to check in and to check out again). When we booked, the page said there as A/C. When we checked in, it was almost 90 degrees and NO A/C in the room. It was like an oven in there. When we called the front desk, they informed us only SOME rooms had A/C, and since we didn't "request" A/C when we booked, we couldn't get a room with A/C. Seriously? Yep. So we found another hotel to move to. The staff at the desk were completely unapologetic about the whole thing. We asked them to call us a taxi (which they apparently didn't do), so we asked a taxi driver who showed up for someone else leaving to call away for one for us. The taxi driver went inside to get his customers, and when he came out, he literally said, "There's something wrong with that guy at the desk." Needless to say, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Breakfast was good Room size was good Room was hot no air had to open windows to cool off, front desk said there was no problem but didn’t even bother to look. Put the room AC and heat not cool was coming out of upper vents. Pool accommodations were limited, seems guests who pay for and picked the place should have accessiblity to the pool or it should be stated in description that the pool is rented to outside parties and your window is limited in the morning as well as the evening.

Im Zimmer hängen Spinnweben von der Decke, im Fensterrahmen sind tote Insekten. Wellness/Sauna: Laut Öffnungszeit beginnt die Sauna um 19 Uhr - leider nein! Die Sauna ist kalt, noch nicht einmal läuft die Aufheizphase. Vor 19 Uhr ist Kinderschwimmen, die Kinder sind aber nach 19 Uhr immer noch im Wellnessbereich. Dies habe ich der Dame an der Rezeption kundgetan - ihre Antwort: "Sie ist alleine und vielleicht ist ja der Knopf rausgesprungen!? Außerdem ist das halt ein altes Haus und ich könne ja eine Bewertung schreiben." Hier ist die Bewertung: Diese Unverschämtheit ist mir noch in keinem Hotel widerfahren! Den 1 Punkt hat sich das Hotel deshalb "verdient", da es an der Straße kostenlose Parkplätze gibt, obwohl das Hotel dafür eigentlich nichts kann - also eigentlich nur einen halben Punkt.

Das Frühstück war gut. Die Zimmereinrichtung war ok. Das Zimmer war allerdings vollkommen überhitzt, hatte keine Klimaanlage. Der vorhandene Ventilator hat quasi keinerlei Kühlung bewirkt. Fenster öffnen hatte wenig Effekt. Es kamen Unmengen an Stechmücken hinein. Keine Fliegengitter vorhanden. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Die Lage war im Gewerbegebiet, gegenüber einer Verbrennungsanlage. Es gab nur wenige Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Der Zimmerpreis war überteuert.
