"OK, let me start out by saying this is the cheapest “NICE” hotel in the area.. it’s a nice spot if you wanna go between Brooklyn and Manhattan (which is what me and my friend did- we’re also coming back here in November for a concert in Brooklyn) a 10 minute walk to the subway, which didn’t even matter because we were grabbing some breakfast on the way (Kelloggs diner a must for cheap bfast) honestly, you can’t expect a five star experience out of places like this.. but it’s also not a fleabag “motel” a little rough around the edges, need some obvious maintenance, but nothing major.. very hot water and a big shower, which was nice. Can’t really ask for much more. It’s not like you’re gonna spend the whole time in their own room. It was clean enough to sleep in… not spotless, clean enough to sleep in though, I’m just used to some horrible motels from my “crazy day” but I liked it- (I heard an older couple complaining at the front desk about it being dirty.) to them it probably was to me. It was totally fine.. My friend is kind of like a Germophobe- if it was really that bad he would’ve said let’s get another room.. the staff were helpful whenever we needed new linens or towels. run by a very nice Indian family.. me and my friend are very well traveled, so it was kind of like they just gave me your card and it was up to you to find the room we got lost almost in the laundry room lol. But you’re in Bklyn and you’re 20 min from manhattan.. most important is a hospitable host"
