Perfect low budget option in Freiburg

Very nice low budget hotel. The location was perfect for what I needed, with plenty of public transportation just next to the hotel. The whole staff was very gentle and efficient and the room was clean and tidy.

Hotel was basic but good. We paid 10 euros for the breakfast which was acceptable, plentiful and wholesome. Rooms were okay, everything you need is there.

What can I say... Reception service was well below average. Hotel is pretty much middle of nowhere. We had only one set of towels. There was a sock hanging from fire alarm on The roof (yes, really...). Breakfast was ok. Good thing is that they have also 3 and 4 person rooms and Price is decent. We won't be staying here again.

Good hotel to stay one night, convenient free parking, simple breakfast for 10€. Small room but good air conditioner. We took a bus and tram to visit center of city. Quiet for sleeping, helpful reception.

Convenient location for business travel

Convenient logistical location next to a tram and many bus lines to get to Freiburg easily ; convenient & comfortable hotel rooms; friendly receptionists (the reception was only staffed during a certain time window, otherwise entry through a door code) ; on the downside - small rooms, located close to highway ( but with closed windows you could not hear the traffic sounds & the room had air conditioning); personally, I missed a coffee maker & a room safe; breakfast times on a weekend were too late for our purposes ; overall : highly recommended for short business stays ; not recommended for longer vacation stays
