Villa with private pool in Fuente del Gallo, very near to the beach, airconditioned - Villa Marko -

"We had a really great stay at the Villa Marko.The villa is well set up for our family with older children and a small toddler (cot and high chair were supplied). The one floor layout with an additional small sitting room made it easy for all the kids to have their own space. One of the bedrooms and the smaller sitting room did not have aircon or an overhead fan, but for our week with temperature around 25-28 C it was not a problem with their doors ajar.Outdoor space was also great. The pool was well sized, with a shallow area that really suited our toddler. The upstairs terrace had a nice view of the sunset, and the gas BBQ was easy to use. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the sunbeds, a couple were a bit old and uncomfortable.Location was perfect. Very short walk to a great beach with a convenient beach bar, that was again perfect for both small toddlers and older kids. Plenty of sand for playing for the younger ones, and body boarding and swimming in the sea for the older ones. Also short drive to the lovely towns of Cadiz, Conil, Vejer and a longer but worthwhile drive to Seville. There is a small local shop but we found the selection limited, and drove to the nearest supermarket 10m drive away for supplies.100% happy to recommend!"
"We had a brilliant stay here. Welcomed by Sara with a big smile and very personable, thanks for the hospitality. We did half board and the food was surprisingly great and exceeded expectations, the staff were great, and location is very relaxing, beautiful beach with the cliffs and pool area, activities to do like paddle. The only negative was the gym is not good and needs improvements and more equipment, and the entertainment in the evening is noisy and can be heard in the rooms until they finish around 11:30pm… but it’s Spain so it’s normal here. Also, I had earplugs so it wasn’t an issue for me, but I would recommend to bring if you’re an early sleeper. Overall brilliant and thinking to bring my mother as she would love it"
