Furniture in room are missing pieces , some others are fixed with scotch tape , rooms are hit since they haven’t update the ac system ( they use a portable fan in top of the ac unit to help improve efficiency). Rooms don’t have showers so if you have to bathe have to do it on a weird room surround by people . Do not buy the breakfast option unless you are looking for a bunch of weird things ( I can eat anything however I did not touch that meal ). Transportation around...

"If you want to take a step off the beaten track in Japan this is a very good option. The hotel is situated in a very good place to explore the Kyoto on Sea area (this is not Kyoto city). The Hotel will send a minibus at certain times of day to pick new visitors up from the railway station. The hotels offers visitors free bike hire for 4 hours and is relatively close to the bus route for exploring other parts of the area.
