spacious apartment, small kitchenette (including all necessary utilities, hob, small fridge, clean, nice view over the Funchal pleasantly furnished outdoor swimming pool with bar on terrace absolutely gorgeous and friendly staff 😊

The room, which contained a kitchen area with a fridge, opened out onto a balcony then onto a well maintained garden. It has a lovely pool area. The whole complex is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The downside is that it was quite a way up steep roads from Funchal

Nice property with wonderful views. Great staff, very clean. 15-20 minute walk to dinning and shopping. The roads down to the town center are very step, bring good comfortable shoes. The bus stop is close to the property, but at certain times of the day they don't run as often as I would have liked.

Very helpful staff. Has a great pool. Our room had a fantastic view. There is a cafe on site with semi limited hours. it was walkable to the main part of town but too much to walk back to since it is way up the hill (but it is doable for many). You can request a breakfast basket for a cost and we did it once and you can pick as many items as you want and it was very nice and well worth it. We would stay here again!

Garden Apartments 3 floor rooms have a fantastic view over Funchal! 14 is called a "family studio" but in fact it has a separate bedroom. There is a main room with a double bed, sofa and balcony, and there is an additional bedroom. The studio has a stove and a refrigerator, pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery. It's not recently updated but most definitely clean. Would not look for anything else if back in Funchal.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and there was plenty of space for all 4 of us. The staff were lovely and very helpful, explaining everything we needed to know, and even coming to our rescue when we came after check in hours and we got a bit lost! We felt very safe here. The pool was lovely and clean and the views are beautiful. The rooms don't have aircon, so it can get a little stuffy if it has been a really hot day. There is a local bakery and a minimarket down the hill both with friendly staff. It is a steep walk in to town, so we often used Bolt to get back which was cheap and efficient. All in all we were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic place to stay!

We had a private apartment with kitchen, seperate bedroom and balcony, which was perfect for everything we needed. It's a little bit up the hill above Old Town, but not particularly an issue due to the price of Bolts being so low (£3-4 from the centre), and the walk not being too difficult. Very friendly and welcoming staff on arrival, and beautiful gardens in the complex. The pool made the place though, with stunnnig views over the city, sun beds and beach towels provided. There's also a terrace above the pool if you prefer, next to a clubhouse - personal favourite place to sit for dusk. Good size carpark as well if you do rent a car.

Gute Lage etwas oberhalb der Innenstadt. Zu Fuß, per Bus oder Taxi ist das Zentrum in 5-15 min erreichbar. Sauber, ruhig, schöner Pool, alle Mitarbeiter sehr nett.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht, unglaublich netten Betreibern und Personal und alles war sauber. Die Wohnungen sind etwas hellhörig. Wer lange schlafen möchte, wird eventuell nicht glücklich.

Amazing view

Perfect location (on big hill), amazing view from balcony, big room, comfortable bad. Perfect parking place in the garden. Only small disadvantage – the room was bit cold, no heating, but it's normal in Portugal (I bought wool socks, and everything was ok :-).
