"I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

"This was our third time staying here, and overall we really enjoy this hotel. The property is very nice, we love the pools and indoor/outdoor hot tub, and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately, this stay was a bit disappointing due to several housekeeping issues. After a day at the beach, the floors were never swept, so we continued to track and feel sand throughout the room for the remainder of our stay. When we went to shower, we also discovered that both the shampoo and body wash dispensers were completely empty, as though they had never been refilled after the previous guests. Our coffee station wasn't restocked either, leaving us with only one cup and no coffee pods the following morning. After our second night, housekeeping did provide fresh towels and emptied the garbage, but the beds were not made, the floors still weren't swept, and the coffee station still hadn't been replenished. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, courteous, and apologetic, and we appreciated that. However, these were basic housekeeping items that shouldn't have been overlooked, especially at an otherwise excellent hotel."

"Beautiful, old house. It felt like home! Check-in was easy, the host was wonderful and full of helpful information. A short walk to down town shopping! The washer and dryer was very useful, and the house had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time of the beautiful screened in porch, and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The parking pass to the beach saved us a ton of money, but don't forget to bring towels. We would absolutely stay again!!"

"This is one of the most perfectly appointed places we’ve stayed at. We appreciated the thoughtful details and provisions that made our quick stay in St. Joseph that much easier. It was also much larger than we expected which was fantastic for stretching out. Clean, modern, and absolutely perfect location!! We would certainly love to stay again."

"It was a pleasure to work with Rebecca. I do think it should have been noted however that the powder room downstairs was in a bedroom and to bring cone shaped coffee filters! There is a drawer full of basket filters that people brought and left:)I also think it important that people know that the front porch has a very deep step (not to code) but probably allowed because it is a historic home. This may be very difficult for older people and certainly for little ones. Additionally, given the number of beds in the house, it was surprising the porch only had seating for four and no seating in the yard. Finally, the biggest plus of the house is the location—it is outstanding to walk into town and to the beach!!"

"We loved this apartment. Perfect location, easy to get into and very clean. There was just one thing we would have liked added to the space: an additional bolt lock located high up on the door for added security. We have small children that could reach the door knob and lock, so it would have given us peace of mind to have an additional lock out of reach. Other than that, it was perfect and we plan to stay here again."

"Awesome little upstairs apartment right next to Silver Beach. Really easy to access. Plenty of parking. The hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. It is an older house but they are updating it. It has new appliances and new toilets, new floors, new TV, etc. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. The outside area had a concrete patio with covered seating, two grills, and a big front and back yard. I love the cute furry black squirrels running around outside. Perfect location for an easy get away."
