The hobbit house was a great place to stay for our weekend on gabriola. Very accommodating and breakfast was delicious! The place had everything we needed and Nancy helped us find all the best spots on the island :)

The Hobbit is a great little place for a stay on Gabriolla Island. It’s clean, quaint and comfortable. It’s a great place to relax and unwind and the location is very convenient. Bed is very comfy! Nancy and Greg are great hosts. And the breakfasts are amazing. 10/10 would stay again.

The Hobbit house location - not far from the ferry and main shopping area, plus nearby access to the 707 trail network - was perfect for our 2-day biking trip to Gabriola. Nancy and Greg were wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming, but very respectful of our privacy. They brought us absolutely delicious breakfasts which set us up well for our days of riding around. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hobbit on Canopy Ridge to our friends & family, and look forward to staying there again. Thanks for having us!

Hosts were super friendly!

We had a great stay on Gabriola. The hosts were super friendly, breakfast was great, and the location was only a couple minutes from the ferry and the wood fire restaurant.

Relaxing stay at The Hobbit

We used The Hobbit as our base for a three night trip for Gabriola. Clean, comfortable and well hosted by an available but privacy-respecting couple (Nancy and Gregory), we really enjoyed out stay. Breakfasts were a nice touch and were well tailored to our considerable dietary needs. Would absolutely stay again.

I found a home-away-from-home for me and my furry kid on Gabriola!The cabin was everything I was looking for! A refuge, cradled by tall trees, emphasizing tranquillity and simple living. The location was perfect for exploring the island and all it has to offer. The hosts were wonderfully welcoming, helpful and easy-going. And WOW… the breakfasts were a work of art every morning! Wonderful stay

A quaint place to stay in a beautiful setting. Hosts were very quick to respond in booking process, extremely hospitable providing all sorts of extra information about what to do/where to eat. They provided wonderful little extras throughout our stay and made us very delicious breakfasts. We hope to be back!

Can't wait to go back! Greg and Nancy were wonderful hosts with lots of good recommendations for places to visit on Gabriola. The amenities were great also. Lovely area to BBQ and hangout outside. Plus the breakfasts were delicious:)
