This place was amazing, had everything and more! We were there for 3 nights and it flew by, wishing we had more time to explore all around and enjoy the mornings on the porch watching the wild animals roam so peacfully.
I had a wonderful time here. Everything was beautifully arranged inside the house. There’s very nice pottery and artwork decorating the walls. I’m happy about my timing because the Orange, Grapefruit, and lemon trees were loaded with fruit! Greg was a fantastic host who is very knowledgeable about many things but especially the surrounding area and the state of Florida. I highly recommend this place.
We had a wonderful time in this natural setting. Greg was a fantastic host and gave us a thorough tour of the property along with it's history. This upstairs apartment was beautifully decorated, and very complete with everything we needed. It felt like home being there. The surroundings were natural, serene, and peaceful. It was still just a short drive to Gainesville and the University of Florida. We hope to stay there again when we return to Gainesville.
Greg's apartment is extremely clean, well appointed, and comfortable, especially if you need some peace and quiet and don't want to deal with Gainesville traffic!
We came to Gainesville to visit the local state parks. Greg's apartment was the perfect place to stay in the area. Great neighborhood and very comfortable apartment. Highly recommend.
We had a delightful stay here. The accomodations are comfortable and had everything we needed. The highlight of our stay was watching the wild turkeys and enjoying fresh fruit grown on the property. The quiet was amazing.
We were in Gainesville so i could compete at the World Indoor Masters Championships ay the end of March and this property was a the perfect place for us to have as a base. The location was quiet and peaceful with lots of local wildlife to enjoy around the apartment. We particularly enjoyed the historical touches around the apartment and the shower was a highlight! We would love to come back.
Very quiet and peaceful place. Host was very welcoming. 10/10 recommended

This property has a mix of American heritage, natural environment including a enormous amount of beautiful trees, birds, turkeys, and a fig tree you can pick to eat and in top of that, a marvelous owner that will help you with any need you could have during your stay letting you wanting to extend your vacation. I truly recommend this property.
This apartment is full of culture; art of multiple mediums and historical memorabilia, passed down through generations. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. And the shower is amazing! I wish I’d booked a longer visit. Hope to stay here again.
This property was everything it was advertised to be. Very quiet and secluded. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the apartment was extremely clean. We especially enjoyed the beautiful bathroom and the interesting artwork and history. Thank you, Gregg for a wonderful stay.
We enjoyed our stay in the area. Easy to get to the Micanopy and Williston area where we wanted to visit. Clean and peaceful property. Lots of art and history memorabilia. Gracious host of the property. Nice place to stay if you visit the area.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a Floridian road trip. Greg is an amazing host, his communication was 1st class from the moment we booked until we departed. The property is wonderful, full of character and we enjoyed learning about the history of the property and the artefacts within. We were here to enjoy the local wildlife, of which there is plenty, including many bird species in the garden. We would highly recommend a stay here.
Quiet, near a lake and away from neighbors.
Lots of birds and surrounded by nature!
The house has lots of beautiful art to inspire.
Our host even picked some fruit for us to enjoy.
Beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was able to enjoy my family and relax with my daughter, who attends UF. I was able to make home cooked meals and catch up on life without the UF hustle and bustle. Greg was a fantastic host and we will be back! rk to share (atehere).

Greg was a great host. Kichen faucet waiting to be repaired was the only knock against it. Very quiet charming place.

I stayed here while I was finishing up a big creative project and needed a private get-away, and it was perfect for my needs. It was clean, quiet, and more than comfortable. The grounds are full of gardenias, palms, citrus, and banana plants, and there is a porch to sit and relax on. Just down the road is a little park on the lake. I hope to stay again the next time I need some creative space.
Greg is a 5 star host! He greeted me upon arrival and walked the property and apartment with me. He also had local places to visit(similar to hotel stays). Greg's hospitality beats most large hotel concierge service. The apartment is truly amazing, beautiful, and clean. The surrounding areas are a true nature lovers dream!
Top shelf! Incredibly quiet. Except for the birds which are wonderful.
Furnishings are beautiful with lots of personal touches and history.
Convenient to Gainesville.
Nice, quiet neighborhood which is great for nature lovers. The unit is just as described. It’s spacious and has a lot of historical decor. Greg was prompt at answering any questions and helping in any way.
Greg has created a remarkable property for those seeking a quiet get-a-way. He was a perfect concierge upon arrival and we truly appreciated his knowledge of the area he has called home for so many years. In addition to a beautiful kitchen, large bedroom and a spacious, bathroom, Greg's home includes a wonderfully curated collection of items from his own family history. In addition to the many migratory birds we watched while sipping our coffee and tea, there were plenty of wild turkeys to watch and we even had a quick appearance of a fox! This was a wonderful place to stay and we hope to come again.
