"Hotel is great! Loved the location - it was close enough to the city center for easy access but far away enough that it was quiet. The room was nice and spacious. Wished the pool was open as it was quite hot but understand that they close it for the season."

"Decent airport hotel. Clean comfortable and quiet. Free shuttle bus. If you are travelling to or from Bilbao the 1253 stops close to the hotel. The breakfast was basic but only €8 Would stay again."

"4 night stay in October - the wife and I. Really nice hotel - perfect for exploring Bilbao. Location 10/10 as by the footbridge over the Nervion and by the Guggenheim, new town, Bilboats and funicular. We were on the top floor - no views except suites - room 719 was quiet, clean albeit we had the worlds squeakiest bathroom door and were fodder for a ravenous mosquito but soon sorted. Staff, breakfast, reception and bar area 10/10. Tip - pay for breakfast it is tip top! Thanks"

"We stayed for one night en route to San Sebastián. Clean room, quite basic in style and not very cosy but comfortable and suitable for the quick night we were there. Staff very helpful. Quiet and in a good location to walk to restaurants and sites."

"Great location, perfect for old town, train station, river walks and food market. We were impressed by the hotel and its welcoming vibe. Breakfast was plentiful. Spa -sauna, steam room and large jacuzzi - were great. Didn’t use the rooftop pool or bar. WiFi & tv channels worked well."
