  • Spectacular sea views in a place where you will find the tranquility you need to disconnect.
    The house is built on a small coastal slope. It has two facades, one of access to the house, where you can park your car and the other with views of the sea, where you can observe the best waves in the world (called El Frontón) where the Bodyboar championship is held every year. Located in a coastal area, where you can enjoy beaches and natural pools.
    The house (loft type) consists of kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedroom and a balcony with extraordinary views of the Atlantic Ocean. At the rear of the house is the pool of 8.5m long by 3.50m wide and a height of 1.65m, the water is extracted from the sea, not being treated with products, so it It changes frequently. At the same height there is a roofed area of wood and skylights, equipped with tables, chairs and plants where you can eat, enjoy a good book or a pleasant chat. In the upper part of the house has a solarium overlooking the sea.

Car essential. Property is ideally equipped and well maintained. Area is run down but the sea view makes up for that. Irene was wonderful and certainly helped during our stay and replied to any questions quickly.

Sehr schönes Domizil.

Die Schlüssel Übergabe erfolgte problemlos. Das Appartement ist sehr ruhig gelegen, also ist es schon von Vorteil einen Mietwagen zu haben. Die Räumlichkeiten sind ordentlich und sauber. Ein eigener Meerwasser Pool und Dachterrasse zum Sonnen sind vorhanden. Einziges Manko ist das andere Häuser höher gelegen sind und somit Einblick von oben auf die Dachterrasse haben. Allerdings ist das auch nicht so schlimm.

Gute Aussicht und sehr gutes Internet, schlechter Schlaf

In der Objektbeschreibung wird ein King Bett versprochen, das sind normalerweise Betten mit 180 cm Breite oder mehr. Leider war nur ein Queensize Bett mit 150 cm vorhanden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt vorzeitig abgebrochen, da wir sehr schlecht geschlafen haben. Im Bad kann leider nicht gelüftet werden, die Verwendnug der Dusche bedeutet immer eine Überschwemmung im Bad. Es gibt leider nur einen Duschvorhang, der nicht abdichtet, weil ausserhalb der Duschtasse. Die Balkontüre ist nur von 2 Personen gemeinsam zu öffnen. Eine persönliche Hausübergabe hat nicht stattgefunden, wir hatten dann auch noch den Auftrag, die Pumpe zur Befüllung des Pools abzudrehen. Die Lage ist schön von der Aussicht her, jedoch ist das rundherum absolute Einöde, umzingelt von Bananenplantagen, die sich hinter hohen Betonwänden verstecken.

Ein Traum am Meer

Ein tolles Haus mit fantastischem Blick aufs Meer. Ein toller großer Pool und nachts wird man von den Wellen in den Schlaf gewiegt. Irene ist eine super Gastgeberin. Wenn es irgendwelche Probleme gibt werden sie zügig beseitigt. Wir waren super zufrieden.

Gem away from hotel enclaves

It is a perfect place to stay away from tourist traps and hotel enclaves. Own bed by the ocean - checked. Own balcony by the ocean - checked. Own terrace by the ocean - checked. Own pool - checked. The only thing to keep in mind (and a reason for a star down) is the surroundings - it's in the land of plantations. A compact, nimble car is indispensable. On the other hand, there's no chance of other hotel guests spoiling your stay.

Touristenfreie Alleinlage

Fe-Wo-direkt bekam es nicht fertig trotz multipler mails und Telefonate 6 Wochen vor Anreise den 1. Tag zu stornieren. Erst nachdem alles, auch def von mir stornierte Tag bezahlt war, bekam ich die Adresse und due Zugangsmöglichkeit! Die Wohnung, ein 1 Zimmer all in , ist großzügig, sinnvoll und nett eingerichtet und in gutem, gepflegten Zustand. Pool und Sonnenterrasse ebenfalls. Lage: inmitten der „Bananentreibhausplantagen“. Sehr nah (3-4km) zum Einkaufen und zum Essen : Galdar, die alte, sehenswerte Hauptstadt und Sardina mit Hafen. Naturpools und kleine Strände in der Nähe. Ruhig, da keinerlei Nachtleben. Fazit: guter Ausgangspunkt zur Inselerkundung, Platz für ruhesuchende Individualisten mit Auto.

J ai averti propriétaire et Abritel que nous arrivions le 10 et pas le 9 La prop à répondu OK mais Abritel a facturé 10 j et pas 9 I adresse est fausse c est calle et pas casino nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une mer de plastique -plantations de bananes- heureusement la prop a pu nous guider par telephonabritel merci de nous rembourser une journée

Great Hideaway

A wonderful little place with amazing view. A really nice pool and big roof terrace. Very quiet and perfect for a few days ger-away. Not suited for small children, as many stairs around pool. Great with washer and dryer. Comfortable bed. Car needed as many nice little restaurants a short drive away. Really recommending this place 👍

La casa tiene todo lo necesario para la estancia, la ubicación no puede ser mejor si lo que buscas es conocer el norte de la isla y la tranquilidad fuera de las zonas más turísticas. La zona exterior la hemos aprovechado al máximo, la piscina de agua salada es un lujo. Irene encantadora y siempre disponible para lo que necesitasemos.

Frühstücken über den gigantischen Wellen

Tolles gepflegt eingerichtetes und sehr zweckmäßiges Objekt. Balkon und Dachterrasse bieten zum Meer hin eine grandiose Aussicht. Der Meerwasserpool bot immer eine Erfrischung, geschickt wind- und blickgeschützt platziert hinter hohen Mauern. Bis auf die Wellen und den Wind sehr ruhig hinter den Bananenfeldern. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in ca. 1,5 Km. Sehr gutes und stabiles Internet - auftretende Probleme (Stromausfall durch Kabelbrand in der Nachbarschaft) wurden umgehend von Irene und ihren Kindern gelöst. Nochmals herzlichen Dank für die tolle Beherbergung!

pics don’t do it justice

We stayed at Irene’s place for 5 days and it was lovely. The views and space are better than the pictures make it look. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She responded to all of our messages promptly. The location is nice if you’re looking for something quiet and a bit off the beaten path for a vacation - but there are groceries and such just a short drive away. We would love to come back one day.

Wundeschöner, "exquisiter" Aufenthalt "im Klang" der Atlantikwellen

Wir haben zum ersten Mal Gran Canaria besucht und in dem sehr schönen, geschmaksvoll eingerichteten Haus von Irene, liegend direkt am atlantischen Ozean, zwei unvergässlichen Urlaubswochen, "im Klang des Meeres", verbracht. Das sehr angnehme Pool mit Meerwasser hat unserem Aufenthalt einen "einzigartigen" Flair übertragen. Dem Haus gehört auch eine breite und lange Dachterasse mit traumhaftem Panoramablick (besonders abends) sowie ein angenehmer, entspannender "Patio" in der Nähe des Pools. Wir haben besonders die Ruhe und einfach, die "Einsamkeit" der Lage des Hauses geschätzt und dass wir in diesen Momenten so weit entfert von dem "Massentourismus" waren... Irene war besonders nett und hillfsbereit: sie hat dazu gesorgt dass für uns bereits an dem Abend unserer Ankunft viele frische Lebensmittel und Getränke im Kühlhaus lagen und dass das Meerwasser des Pools regelmäßig gewechselt wurde und damit ständig "frisch blieb". Sie unterstützte uns mit vielen Informationen über die Geographie, die Kultur und die Historie der kanarischen Nordküste, die die "besondere", die "authentische" Gran Canaria räpresentiert auch weil hier die historisch und archäologisch bedeutende, ursprüngliche Hauptstadt "Agaldar" der Insel liegt. Am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes, hat uns Irene selbst mit ihrem Auto zur Bushaltestelle für Las Palmas/Flughafen gefahren. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Irene sowie an Ihre sehr nette Tochter die wir auch kennengelernt haben. Wir würden gern nach Galdar zurückkehren aber vorher, möchten wir gern das Haus von Irene an der Galdar Küste, ganz herzlich, den "Exklusivisten" (die sich auch für die kanarischen Geschichte, Kultur und Traditionen interessieren) empfehlen. Ebenfalls, aus der Erfahrung unseres Aufenthaltes, möchten wir gern Irene als "Super Gastgeberin" (als "Superhost") empfehlen. Maria & Daniel

Allein und fein ohne Massentourismus

Weitab von Massentourismus aber in bester Lage zur Autobahn und vielen Sehenwürdigkeiten der Insel gelegen. Sehr sauberes geräumiges Anwesen mit sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vemieterin. Sehr gute Infrastruktur im Umkreis. Auto erforderlich. Das Wetter ist nicht heiß und nicht immer sonnig.

Appartement agréable, très bon séjour à Galdar

Très bon séjour à Galdar (4nuits, mars 2019), accueil sympathique (demandez à Irene où trouver de bons fruits : ils sont vraiment bons !). Appartement joliment aménagé, belle vue (attention au vent, apporter un pull). Intérieur de l'île, la cote, Las palmas, beaucoup de choses à voir : il faut une voiture. Nous n'avons pris que des petits déjeuner sur place et n'avons testé ni la piscine, ni la baignade en bas des rochers.

Quiet location with stunning sea view

If you are looking for a quiet spot away from mass tourism, this apartment is ideal. The modern apartment is very well equipped. The pool and the sundesk are at your private disposal. Irene is very helpful but stays in the background. You will need a car but Galdar is right on the highway and every interesting place on Gran Canaria is reachable in short time.

...eine gepflegte Ferienwohnung mit viel Meer!!

Wir haben 20 Tage in dieser schönen Ferienwohnung unseren Urlaub verbracht. Zwei Highlights vermissen wir jetzt schon sehr.. ein von außen nicht einsehbarer Pool mit Meerwasser, der zum Abkühlen und Relaxen einlud - und die große Terrasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik zum Sonnen und Träumen. Die Wohnung selbst ist sauber, modern eingerichtet und voll ausgestattet, selbst eine Waschmaschine befindet sich in einem extra Raum. Vom Schlafzimmerbalkon aus, kann man jeden morgen einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang beobachten. Das Meeresrauschen ist immer zu hören und macht das Urlaubsfeeling perfekt! Ein Leihwagen ist dringend erforderlich! Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden von der sehr freundlichen Vermieterin mehrmals nach Absprache gewechselt
