"Initial view from the outside wasn’t very inspiring as the entrance is on main road but reception up stairs and lift . However we were met by lovely porter who helpfully took our luggage from us. The reception staff were very welcoming offering us a cool drink from the free bar . The staff here are all very friendly and so helpful, nothing too much for them. The free brunch and apre dinner has loads of food to choose from and is delicious with wine available too. Breakfast was also excellent and everything was fresh and appealing . The room was comfortable and cool with very comfortable bed . Bit noisy if room on the front but didn’t stop us sleeping ."

"Everything was terrible from check in where we were sent to some horror film looking room up 3 flights of stairs to a desk manager who obviously sent us there after our original room was not available, and I could not understand the ineptitude, though I was always polite. The place smells and the hallway carpets are dirty and stained, there was even dog feces in the hallway The room bedsheets had curly pubic hair in them . The bathroom floor had dried urine around the toilet. The bathtub had dirt in it and was clogged It took 5 minutes for the water to drain This room was so dirty that we peeled off the top sheets and slot with our clothes on There is no way this is a 4 star hotel I"

"I absolutely loved having a deep, soaking tub to relax and wind down after long tours and all-day walking so that I could get to sleep easier because the television kept presenting in Italian. However, the bathroom is in need of maintenance: the caulking at the base of the shower door was visibly deteriorated, and the buildup underneath and the metal was not sealed to the non-porous part of the tub which led to gaps. Staff was good, willing to deep clean the tub & warm leftovers, though they were not as knowledgeable when giving directions. Rooms were not soundproof because I could hear everything happening in the hall. Overall, a good stay due to the tub, staff & convenient location."
