"This was another return visit to this wonderful warm and friendly pub/hotel. This time i was accompanied with my daughter/we came up up to celebrate my friend's birthday and celebrate my daughters acceptance to University. "Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"A really pretty newly refurbished country pub hotel. The room was lovely and bathroom very clean. Tye staff were really helpful and attentive especially the waitress at breakfast. We had dinner there too which was really nice. We even attended the pub quiz!"
