The Hanza Hotel sits right where Gdańsk quietly shows off: on the river, in the heart of the old town, without ever feeling touristy. It understands tone, which already puts it ahead of most places. The staff are outstanding — warm, switched on, and genuinely proud of where they work. Every interaction feels human and considered. Meals match that confidence: breakfast is fresh and well-judged, dinners thoughtful and properly done, no gimmicks, no filler. Rooms are calm, comfortable, and a pleasure to return to. Wonderful!!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The perfect location, friendly staff, fantastic large room with the most stunning view overlooking the river and the great breakfast. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
