AMAZING VIEW + UNEQUALED COMFORT = THE PERFECT RETREAT


  • This high comfort, contemporary house is ready to welcome you and let you relax and enjoy the view. The only thing between you and the Pacific Ocean is an easy less than five minute walk across the low dunes.

    Located in a quiet, gated community that's five miles from Seaside and 14 miles from both Cannon Beach and Astoria, there is nothing to keep you from maximizing the return on your "down time" - or giving you the quiet you need to write the next great American novel. If you need stores or supplies to replenish what you brought with you, Costco and Fred Meyer are in Warrenton - which is less than ten miles to the north. Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach all have a large selection of specialty stores - including bakeries and breweries - if there's something special you need.

    Inside you'll find a big screen TV with a huge selection of DVD's along with a computer and WI-Fi to keep you connected. Outside, behind the large and spacious deck (which will keep you out of the wind) you'll find the 8th tee of the Highlands Golf Course in the backyard and if you're lucky, you'll see the local herd of elk.

    The fully equipped kitchen features a gas cook top with a new oven and microwave. A huge island provides plenty of prep space with room for your quality checkers to hang out nearby.

    The living room has a two story high vaulted ceiling and a gas fireplace makes it easy to relax when it's cool or cloudy outside. The large comfy couches and chairs will make it hard for you to get going once you settle into them.

    The bedrooms all feature brand new, high end mattresses with "snug-as-a-bug" bedding. The laundry room is equipped with a commercial duty washer and dryer.

    The two car garage has a pair of bicycles so you can go peddling and it offers full shelter when you are coming and going.

    This is a true two story house with a half-floor of steps required to get to the living level. Entry and exit is not difficult but if you have trouble negotiating stairs please examine the pictures carefully.

This place is amazing! It’s big, gorgeous, comfy furniture, and has plenty of everything (linens, dishes, cookware, serving dishes, outdoor space)!!! Gorgeous ocean view with close beach access. Walkable to McMenamins for golf, food, or shenanigans. Right on the Highlands golf course. Just perfect in every single way. Excellent communication with host.

This proprty is well appointed and beautiful inside and out. With sweeping ocean views and comfortable living spaces, it is a perfect location for a family vacation or holiday celebration. The kitchen is amply equipped for multiple cooks at the same time. We were able to prepare several dishes for our Thanksgiving celebration. Wonderful accommodations!

Incredible Stay!

This property was beautiful and incredibly clean. Fantastic amenities, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and quality linens. The views were gorgeous and there is a short walk to the beach. Wonderful House

The house was clean, well laid out, and in a quiet neighborhood with a walking trail to the beach and a 9 -hole golf course that was easy to walk and very inexpensive to play. We would definitely rent again when in the area.

Amazing Gearhart!!

Very beautiful location, 5 minute walk to quiet beach. Amazing home, very close to 2 golf courses. If you want quiet peaceful location this is the perfect home!! We would definitely stay here again and again.

Lovely property & accommodations!

This was our 4th stay at this property- and will be back again next year! House & property are very well maintained - clean, comfortable , with easy beach access. Returned for another great stay!

This is our 3rd year returning to this beautiful home in the Highlands at Gearhart, and it did not disappoint! The house gives our family plenty of room to spread out, cook together, dine together, watch to sunset on the front porch - and grill on the back patio as the golfers play through. Relatively close drives to Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach.

Awesome Home

Nestled in Gearhart's gated community with views of the ocean and minutes from the beach. The house is well appointed for cooking and hosting. Spacious living area to relax, play games and all be together. We have two small grandkids that loved the playroom and accompanied toy assortment. Each person in our family gave it an A. We can not wait to return.

Excellent Property

This place is amazing! The views of the ocean from the living room are priceless. It’s a short walk to the beach and short drive to local food and shops. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed and there is plenty of space to sit down, enjoy a meal, and watch the ocean. The large open floor plan was a really nice space to sit back and relax with family and friends.

Amazing property just a short walk to the beach!

Beautiful property in a gated community with tons of amenities (beautiful kitchen with anything you could possibly need, fireplace, outside seating, stocked bathrooms, etc). The host didn’t miss a beat with her communication. It’s on a beautiful Oregon Coast beach but you need to walk out a bit. Wonderful place to stay with a large family!

Lovely Home and Location!

This home is luxurious, well-stocked and has a beautiful view through floor to ceiling windows in the great room. From comfy couches, fluffy bath towels, to a kitchen with every appliance you might need, you will feel pampered during your visit. This home was perfect for our extended family holiday with rooms and bathrooms for everyone. Book it now - you won’t be disappointed.
