It is a sweet stop at the Candy Shoppe Loft! Located above the famous Pucker Up Candy Shoppe, the Loft features 9 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and is situated right in the heart of Geneva-on-the-Lake’s entertainment district. Perfect for large groups, this completely remodeled second-floor property gives you one of the best locations for walking to all attractions on the Strip. The Loft has 9 queen beds and 2 sleeper sofas to accommodate 22 people, flat screen TVs with cable in every room, and wireless internet access. After a day of enjoying all the Strip has to offer, relax in the master bath’s whirlpool tub and walk-in sauna. A quick 13 steps up to the deck entrance of the house provides an incredible view of Lake Erie and the entire Strip from almost every room.
Amenities offered by the pet friendly Candy Shoppe Loft include: Central A/C; Wi-Fi and cable; A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils; Fresh linens and towels are stocked in all 3 bathrooms. The outdoor entertainment space at the Loft boasts an elevated furnished deck with gas fire pit and stocked propane grill.
Check in is 4:00 p.m. and checkout is 11:00 a.m. Parking for up to 8 vehicles is easily accessible just off Lake Road.

• Explore more than 20 Northeast Ohio wineries just minutes from Candy Shoppe Loft. The Ashtabula and Lake County grape-growing regions produce most of Ohio’s wine grapes, giving our area the reputation as the state's finest. And don’t forget about our famous covered bridges.
• Arriving by boat? Dock within the safety of the harbor at nearby Geneva State Park. And Lake Erie itself has so much to offer: Book a sunset cruise or a fishing charter. Swim at the State Park or stroll along the beach, then take a ride on the Ferris wheel. There are several restaurants and wineries right on the lake, and our spectacular sunsets offer the perfect subject for photo enthusiasts.

Bachelorette Weekend

This house is awesome and just as described! The host was very accommodating and allowed us in early to decorate for our bride to be. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone else to book too!

We travel to the Geneva, Ohio area 1-2 times per year. We always look for a place hosted by Matt. He is incredibly helpful and accommodating. This property is what is advertised and meets expectations, as seem to be all properties hosted by Matt.

Bachelor Party

I’ve stayed in this property before for a bachelor party, so I booked it for another one. The property is perfectly placed on the strip with easy access to any type of bar, restaurant, or shop you could think of. It also is a short walk to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay. I would like to add that the fans in the living room did not work, nor did it looked like they had been cleaned/dusted in a long time. Also, the fans in the bedrooms seemed to be sporadic on whether they worked or not. All in all, it was a pleasurable stay.

Family Monthly Gathering

There was enough room (9 bedrooms) for 18 family members to stay comfortably in one location. This location also had 3 bathrooms which was excellent. Having TVs in every bedroom as well as the kitchen and living room was outstanding. There was enough seats for everyone as well. If I had to provide a recommendation, it would be to have a table large enough to accommodate at least 8-10 people instead of six. But luckily, I had a folding table to use. I would definitely stay at this spot again.

Absolutely perfect!

We stayed here with 14 others for my husband's 50th birthday. Not once did we feel crowded. We stayed in December so we spent most of our time indoors with plenty of room. The sauna was a nice bonus as were the Christmas trees in the living room and dining room! There were many other Christmas touches as well. They were aware we were bringing a dog and left dog biscuits! I very much appreciated the comfortable bed and the provided towels, linens, soaps, shampoo, dish cloths, dishwasher pellets and soap. We have already decided we'll be back next year.

Great time in Geneva-on-the-Lake above the Candy Shoppe

We had 16 people stay in this house with 9 bedrooms and I think 2 pull-outs and 3 bathrooms. Very clean and plenty of room for cooking and having a good time. Walking distance to many of the shops, coffee shop, Old Firehouse Winery, etc., and a short drive to the beaches. Next to The Cove-there were no disturbances on the weeknights (we stayed Mon-Thurs). Matt has always responded quickly to emails and texts but we didn’t have any reason to contact him. We did plenty of cooking-the double oven and microwave and Keurig all suited our needs. All of us can’t wait to come back again!! Great location and great price!

We experienced a very serious issue during our stay. Around 4 a.m., a fire broke out on the lower level, reportedly caused by a dryer being used by the property management. The only smoke alarm in our unit didn’t go off until the upstairs was already smoky, and we heard nothing from the first floor. We evacuated immediately and called the fire department. One member of our group was taken by ambulance and treated at the hospital.Due to the unsafe conditions and lack of communication or support, we left the property after just 12 hours. No alternate accommodations were offered. We also lost personal items to smoke damage and are now dealing with medical expenses related to the incident.What was most upsetting wasn’t just the fire - it was the complete lack of empathy from the owner or management. No one asked how we were doing or if everyone was okay. The owner seemed more concerned about the damaged dryer than the fact that guests were put at serious risk.The property and location were lovely, but the handling of this emergency was deeply disappointing. I'm sharing this in hopes that safety measures are improved and that future guests are treated with more care and concern.

Weekend vacation

We had a wonderful weekend get a away! It was a family vacation. We roamed around town and went to the beach. The rental was very roomy. We loved the sauna I. The bathroom. The fire pit on the deck was a great place to congregate. The only thing I didn’t realize was that I needed to bring a blow dryer. Otherwise the place had everything we needed.
