It features a combined living and sleeping area with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with shower, and a private kitchen equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, fan, washing machine, as well as bed linen and towels. A baby cot is available on request.



    Hiking trails start right outside your door. The bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away, and the train station is 5 minutes on foot. Shops for daily needs, bakeries, restaurants, and cafés are all nearby.

    Your accommodation is located in a listed, lovingly renovated building that retains its original architectural character. This special house shapes the townscape of Gengenbach. As in many half-timbered houses with old wooden beams, sounds from the house may be somewhat audible—for very light sleepers, we wish to point this out in advance. The hosts live nearby and are happy to assist you if needed.

Spacious, complete and perfect location

Pros: The apartment was bigger than the photos suggested. Inventory was very complete. Location was perfect. We did not meet our host in person, but that was okay. We had all info we needed. Cons: The matress was a bit too hard for my liking.

Haus liegt optimal in der historischen Altstadt

Pros: Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung im Scheffelhaus steh wohl gefühlt - und man aus dem Haus geht ist man praktisch mitten in der Altstadt mit ihren wunderschönen Gässchen und Fachwerkhäusern, auf dem Marktplatz mit seinen Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ...einfach wunderbar. Bei Bedarf hatten wir auch guten Kontakt zur Gastgeberin.

Stilvolle Wohnung in toller Lage

Sehr schöne gemütliche Wohnung in historischem Fachwerkhaus, zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Ankunft und Abreise hat problemlos geklappt. Wir werden wieder kommen.
