We absolutely loved our stay and were immensely grateful the lovely and very professional staff both accommodated and put up with us. Our room was beautiful. We had a fabulous view of the plaza below and stunning surroundings. The breakfast was fresh, healthy and delicious. The staff helped us many times as these were our first days ever in Italy. Highly recommend!

The Front desk team AAA+

From the start we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly and helpful team of girls at the front desk. The genuine nature of the receptionists continued throughout our short stay, which made it more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable for our family of four. We will definitely return the next time in Genoa.

My stay at Best Western Metropoli was very enjoyable! The location of this hotel is perfect in many ways. Close to Palazzo Ferrari and all the sites in Genoa. Plus, very conveniently located to transportation, dining and shopping. The staff ware very friendly, kind and accommodating! I am a solo female traveler and I felt very safe and comfortable at this hotel. I would highly recommend it for your stay in Genoa. Safe travels!

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and knowledable. The bathrooms had been recently renovated so they were nice and clean. Only drawback was the flight of stairs you have to climb with your suitcase just to get into the hotel lobby. Also it was hard to find dinning nearby as most places were closed when we were there.

Enjoyable stay

Brilliant location - close to everything and easy to reach with the airport bus (Volabus). Plenty of good restaurants, bars etc in easy walking distance. Superior room was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Air con battled a bit on the super hot days (35 degrees). But this is normal in Italy. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very good. All staff were kind and incredibly helpful - proactive (not just responsive) to our needs.

This hotel is top notch. The service, cleanliness and proximity to metro, train, buses, shopping and restaurants are so convenient. The room is very clean and bed comfy. the washroom is super clean. The breakfast is well worth the 8 euros. But what stands out the most are the staff at the reception. So professional, helpful and polite. Nicole loves her job and is always happy to see you. They go beyond their call of duty to accomodate you. It feels very safe and secure to stay at this hotel and especially welcoming. I give it a hands up ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good hotel, I would have said excellent if the breakfast were a little better. In general, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again. Not close to the train station but super convenient if one wants to walk around the center of the city or go down the port area.

Overall a great location in old Genoa with almost everything in walking distance or close to public transportation. The hotel is a little on the older side with some minor housekeeping issues and room condition. The room was fine but it could have used more closet space. The bathroom itself was very small and not enough counterspace. The staff overall were very welcoming and polite at all times.
