Nice hostel with a modern touch

The hostel seems to have been newly renovated and provides new beds, clean rooms and good common areas. Breakfast was ok, better than expected. The bathroom in the room was not so good, mouldy, dirty and loose tiles. The good thing was that functionality wise the bathroom worked.

Really loved the vibes here. Lots of staff and volunteers so tons of activities and fun people to meet. The rooms have real beds which is nice and the lockers are plenty big for all your belongings. Large kitchen with tons of free food, and amenities to cook for yourself, and was pretty clean considering. Really loved the vibes here. Would stay at this chain again.

An excellent, open hostel with a young heart. It is situated directly near a railway station Genova Piazza Principe; there are the famous Via Balbi elevator, which travels 300m horizontally before ascending directly opposite and Maritime museum per foot available. The atmosphere is very friendly. Can recommend it to stay in Genova!

This hostel has a very young and hip vibe. I was worried about noisiness, but it wasn't an issue at all, even with our room overlooking the courtyard. The room itself was very clean and well stocked. Plus we were so close to the train station. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Genoa.

I have stayed in various Hostel's over the years & this one was very clean & safe. I did have my own room at the hostel, the room was very clean and had a safe as well. The hostel has cameras in the halls and keyless entry to the rooms, after 8pm you need a code to get up the elevator as well. The staff give you a map with local attractions to the city as well. The staff all speak good English & are very helpful. The hostel is very close to restaurants & local attractions as well & about 2 blocks from a busy train station. The paid breakfast was also very good, lots of options and fresh. The hallways can be busy in the morning & later at night from people coming & going but overall very quiet even when they had loud evening events going on (I did stay on the 6th floor for my stay). Would highly recommend staying here & would use some of their other locations in the future!

This is my third time here. First I chose it because of the location. It’s literally 3 minutes from the train station and from the airport bus stop at Piazza del Principe. Also very close to cruise terminal. Once I tried I liked it. The beds are strong and comfortable with personal light and plugs option. Every room has a bathroom. Not all beds are bunk beds. I was in a room with 4 single beds in now. We can have lots of free stuff, like Americano coffee, free food in the kitchen and toiletries if needed. Also a paid breakfast or take away bag are available. Everything is clean and well managed. The staff is very helpful and kind. The only thing I didn’t like was the loud late party on Friday. Also needs to be aware and be careful as the rooms have 3-4 steps inside. I’m excited to try their other hostels in Italy as well.

Geeat location

Great location. Perfect spot near the principle train station. I booked a private room as a solo female traveler over 50. The common areas are wonderful- well designed and inviting. I was on the 6th floor. There are 2 lifts. However- The AC was not working. July. Very hot in Genoa. The room was uncomfortably hot All day and night. No fans provided (a fan could have helped so much as I was covered in sweat). The only relief was leaving the room a LOT and cold showers ever few hours during the night time. It was so hot I couldn't sleep. I had wide open doors to the balcony felt unsafe but I tried it anyway-- there was zero breeze. I could have paid for a regular hotel and been more at ease-- which I regret as it was short visit. No compensation although the staff knew the AC was not working. They said they "are working on getting it fixed". If you plan to stay there during summer months you might contact them in advance to see if it's been fixed or try to request a floor that has functional AC.
