"The hotel was very clean. It included a great breakfast with lots of choices. Staff was kind & helpful. It had air conditioning!"

"The rooms were spacious and nice. The bathroom was fairly small with limited space to put things. There was only one mirror in the room which made it difficult for 3 people to get ready at the same time. Would be nice if there was a full length mirror. The room had motion sensor lights that came on which was rather annoying in the middle of the night that even movement in the bed would turn the light on or if someone got up to the bathroom it would wake everyone up with the lights. Communication was often frustrating as you are communicating with an AI bot. It was a good location right next to train station and multiple bus stops. Positive is it had a great AC unit!"

"I was notified this week of my upcoming 3 night booking. I however did not book this stay. I reached out to both Expedia (whom I was able to reach) and the hotel on multiple occasions to discuss the fraudulent booking and they failed to respond each time. Although I did not stay there, their communication is nonexistent."

"We stayed at Augusta Lucilla palace from May 29 till June 1st and again on June 7th. We are a family of 5, very nice and clean rooms, prefect location , walkable distances to major attractions. Just the reception area is small, but honestly it wasn’t a big issue for us. Overall a very nice hotel with 5 minutes walk to Roma Termini."

"The room was clean and it’s a normal space for a hotel room. The hotel was nice, I like the set up, with work spaces, lounges inside and outside of the hotel. Very cool. The only thing is, if you want to go to Vatican City, which the majority of the things we wanted to do, including the Coliseum, we had to catch a taxi every day, twice a day. Taxi fare is expensive. And it takes about 25-30 mnts. Not whole of of things to do near the hotel."

"Overall not a great experience and I will definitely not return to this property. The staff are somewhat rude and condescending and pretty short and blunt. This is not a luxury hotel and I wasn’t expecting anything much but this definitely didn’t live up to low expectations. The property is dated and you can tell as the pictures online are misleading. There is an old antique elevator that leads you to your room which is kind of quaint and nice. However, it goes downhill from there. The lockers in the room need a key which you have to get from the reception and no one will bring it up to you in case you want to use the locker. You have to carry all your luggage as there is no one to even help with the door. We had a lot of bags and it was impossible to do it all but they watched us struggle but didn’t bother to help. We asked for a late checkout and instead of saying anything nice to decline, all that the receptionist said was “No, impossible. No no no…”and then abruptly hung up. When they do your room, they do not replenish with water either. Not going to be coming back or recommending people."

"A very nice hotel in Trastevere, the restaurant area of Rome. Lots of good restaurants around and very walkable day and night. And with a 25 minute walk across the river, you’re in the middle of old Rome. The rooftop is very nice for an afternoon drink and maybe dinner (haven’t eaten there)."
