"Friendly owner, nice location, beautiful garden with koi and goldfish pond. Good price, would stay again if in area. Shame we didn’t get to try the breakfast, it sounded nice. Thank you for being so welcoming."

"Recently renovated food room in traditional pub. Staff were outstandingly friendly. Bustling trade with karaoke evening the first night we arrived, great straightforward breakfast."

"Very nice, lived second time for 7 days, really enjoyed and comfortable "

"Great for a one night stay, easy check in. Bed very comfortable. Cosy. Very cute dogs welcomed us! Clean and everything you need for a short stay. Recommended."

"Lovely place."

"For me, everything was very good. However, you should know that the hotel is in an old building and this could bother someone else considering the slightly noisy floor"

"Great views and great restaurant, lots of parking and scenic river views from room and restaurant"

"We pre-booked a non smoking Family room. On arrival the non smoking Family room we were given was not cleaned very satisfactory, they had no other rooms to offer other than a smoking room, which we had no choice but to accept. After pulling out The Bed Settee it was full of `glitter` (obviously not cleaned). The TV controller did not work and an electric bulb was missing from the dressing table. We complained and were given a small rebate. Would not book at this Hotel again."

"Room was clean, adequate parking, friendly staff and comfy bed. A very pleasant stay"

"Was or similar to an old coaching Inn, and layout and ambience reflected this"

"Rooms could do with updating and the wifi is terrible but on the whole a lovely hotel with fantastic staff and loads to do. The food in the bar and restaurant was 5*"

"The Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar area and locals were welcoming. The accommodation could do with some TLC. Mattress in room 3 needs replacing."
