This was my second time staying here - both times were very pleasant. We pass through George during the holidays to cut the drive in half and this is the best hotel offered in the area. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious. We especially like this place because it is pet friendly and offers a good breakfast. My favorite touch is the free cookies at the front desk and their "guest of the day" program.

I was placed in a room next to the side door which was used frequently. Upstairs noise was also an issue. I’m a Holiday Inn member so I was placed in such a room in that location. The office staff wanted to move me to another room but my suitcase was all unpacked so they deposited 100 points instead. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the highlight of the stay.
