We enjoyed talking with him as he was very personable. We definitely would recommend Hillside Motel. It was not the Taj Mahal, but for the value price, it was worth staying there. "This is a lovely older property in a great location on a hill overlooking St. John. It is convenient for the reversing tides and Uptown St. John. The proprietors are very friendly - Lane told us about the restaurant by the reversing falls which was fun - the husband of the two cooks the excellent breakfast.
