The room was clean but a little old and a couple spots creaked. Staff was friendly and helpful. The gym/pool was not free even though i had a suite and the buffet had a good variety but it was hell to walk around. Beautiful rural area with mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Gero-onsen is an outdoor museum of transferred houses that depict life in an early Japanese settlement. Worth a visit!
