"Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice."

"The rooms are very clean, and cleaned daily The rooms are large and consist of sleeping area and Living area, the views from the bedrooms are of the marina which are beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and you can use the fantastic swimming pool as you wish. For the cyclists, take your bikes with you and there is a locked dry bike shed. The cycling paths are excellent, very safe and endless. They have a huge parking area and it's free"

"​I stumbled upon this place on Expedia while playing a high-stakes game of "where am I driving next in the Netherlands," and it turned out to be the ultimate win. Hands down the best hotel of my trip so far! The place was so clean I’m pretty sure you could eat your breakfast off the floor (though I used the table like a civilized human). ​The absolute highlight? Watching the Dutch squad take on Japan in the World Cup right there in the hotel, cheering alongside the locals. The room itself was...

"This is a terrific location and everything was excellent but for one thing…I had asked before booking if there was access to gluten free meals (this was an important requirement for health reasons) and I was assured this would be no problem. However, the reality was that it really didn’t exist…you really had no meals to choose from. I feel that for a “wellness” place there would be actual meal plans available and placed on the menu."

"Lovely hotel. Great night sleep in a very comfortable bed. About a 20 minute walk to the main centre of the town. Limited facilities available at the hotel after about 7pm. No bar open after this time so had to walk elsewhere to get a drink. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Would stay here again"
