"Indian restaurant food is tasteless due to overspicing, and premises are run-down and dingy. Staff is scruffy and check-in is slow. Bar is a dark squalid place where some local men consume alcohol while apparently awaiting female professionals hired for fun. Corridors have room service meals at the doors of rooms with food leftovers there for hours, attracting flies. Breakfast is basic and mediocre, and fruits are not fresh. "First off, I want to highlight that this review is as low as it is because of their service. Absolutely terrible service, treating their customers as a bunch of livestock and animals. We prepaid for this hotel via Hotels.com. They did not offer our prepaid reservation, claiming that the price was too low. This I understand, and I was even willing to pay extra to make up for it. "The hotel is clean and in pretty good shape. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There is a small indoor pool on the top floor and limited parking outside. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach but this particular beach is not very nice. For the price we paid for two nights it was great value. "
