Excellent for proximity to train station. <30 min walk to center or uni. Very friendly and helpful guys at front desk. Has Indian-Nepali restaurant/bar attached, but I didn't tty it. Clean and comfortable room. Only negative was dilapidated light well 'view.' Preferred to close curtains and pretend there was no window.

Never again!!! I booked this hotel for another person. But he was charged him for the staying when he arrived. When I called to the Castel manager sad this guest did appear. But I have his check out receipt. They charged me twice. And till now they are saying than didn’t see my friend at hotel.

A hotel without airconditioning or ventilation

No airconditioning, no forced ventilation, extremely uncomfortable in heat wave but Flanders is often above 30°C in summer. Shower difficult to enter and leave because door obstructed by toilet. Two tiny bottles of liquid soap provided for two days. Not accessible: lift stops between floors, so stairs have to be negotiated, in darkness (automated lighting comes on late). Building is old and common areas look old, not recently refurbished. At that, pricing is not much lower than that of much better hotels.

Kleines und einfaches Hotel. Es liegt direkt gegenüber vom Bahnhof Sint Pieters. Busse und Straßenbahnen fahren auch dort ab.

Simpel hotel. Perfect gelegen tov station en openbaar vervoer Vriendelijk personeel. Prima ontbijt. Rustig hotel. Redelijk staat van onderhoud. Schoon. Gladde vloer icm gesepareerde bedden maakt wel dat die makkelijk van elkaar wegglijden.

Ontspannen in Gent

Schoon hotel, met prettig ingerichte kamer, zo te zien recent gerenoveerd. De waterkoker met kopjes en thee en koffie op de kamer bieden leuk extra comfort. Ook het restaurant bij het hotel was prettig. Lekkere maaltijden tegen gunstige prijs. Ook in directe omgeving genoeg horeca en winkeltjes.

The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the Railway Station. The managers are Nepali and the adjoining restaurant is lavishly decked out with Nepali decorations, which was a pleasant surprise and a nostalgia blast for me - since I have spent alot of time in Nepal, as well as in culturally Nepali regions of India. The town of Gent is really scenic, historic, and interesting and could certainly merit several days of exploration but I had only one day here, so I definitely would like to return again.

Ystävällinen palvelu ja myös hotellin yhteydessä oleva ravintola oli ihan hyvä. Hyvä sijainti, lähellä rautatieasemaa - ei isoa katua ihan huoneiden kohdalla, joten myös rauhallinen. Siistit huoneet. Miinuksena - ei ilmastointia ja hellejakson sattuessa juuri kohdalle oli aika tukalan kuumat huoneet.

Gedoe over de prijs, probeerde nogmaals touristenbelasting in rekening te brengen. Vriendelijke mevrouw aan de balie maakte een hoop goed.De manager serveerde zeer nors het ontbijt en bleef kijken terwijl we de enige gasten waren...wel wat genant. Men is niet gewend aan roerei en bacon, dat was niet goed klaargemaakt. Ontbijt zeer karig, beter ergens in de stad ontbijten...

Ihana loma!

Todella mukava, ystävällinen ja huomaavainen henkilökunta. Hyvä ja riittävä aamupala. Pojat kävivät saunassa, sanoivat sen olleen kuin uusi ja tosi siisti. Tiibet oli jonkin verran esillä ravintolan sisustuksessa. Ei huono 🙂 Öisin oli rauhallista. Muutama sääski väijyi huoneessa, kannattaa ottaa suoja-aineita mukaan jos on allerginen.
