A typical Loire Valley manor house, located just a stone’s throw from downtown, the Loire River, the Château de Gien, the pottery factory, shops, restaurants, and bars—it’s the ideal spot for a weekend or a week-long vacation with family or friends.
The cottage features 7 large double bedrooms. Exposed wood paneling, oak parquet floors, and terracotta tiles lend charm to our rooms.
Four of the bedrooms are equipped with modern private bathrooms, featuring bathtubs (2) or walk-in showers (2). A fifth separate bathroom with a bathtub is also available. There are also 6 restrooms throughout the house.
The cottage features a large, fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, 4-burner stove, coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer) with a magnificent central island that’s perfect for cooking. Two other small kitchens (electric hotplates, fridge-freezer combo, mini-ovens) are also available, offering more flexibility.
The main living room opens onto the garden through a large picture window. The floor features terracotta tiles and flagstone, with a large stone fireplace and a cozy living area featuring a TV corner and a “Petiot” foosball table (with the playability of a Bonzini). A second large living room with a TV, games, and board games is also available on the first floor, as well as a second dining room that seats 20 people.
The well-being and safety of children are our top priority: the cottage is completely enclosed by a wall.
As for the garden, the cottage features a large flower garden ideally situated near the entrance, as well as a second “secret garden” located above the rooftops.
