"“Booked this hotel expecting a high-quality stay based on the price and facilities advertised, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. We paid £144 for one night and the hotel felt very run down, dated, and in need of major refurbishment. The room and overall property did not feel worth the money at all.
We specifically chose this hotel because of the leisure centre, gym, sauna and spa facilities, but even those were underwhelming and disappointing compared to what we expected from a hotel in this price range. There are far more modern hotels nearby for cheaper prices that offer a much better overall experience.
The staff were genuinely lovely, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which was the only real positive. You could tell they were doing their best. However, great staff alone cannot make up for how tired and neglected the hotel feels overall.
For the price paid, I expected comfort, quality and a more modern environment. Instead, it felt old-fashioned, worn out and overpriced. Sadly, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it unless the hotel undergoes significant improvements and refurbishment.”"
