"What an enchanting place with so much charm, heart and history. Walking the walled garden, sitting in the drawing room while having a couple of drinks from the bar and chatting with the owner, were our favourite things. A delicious breakfast before we left in the morning topped off a great experience. This is the type of charm you don’t find in big corporate hotels."

"We loved The Snug. Stayed June 26-27. Nice sea views ; quiet, relaxing , well stocked ( byo toiletries) apartment with a washer dryer and dishwasher onsite. Great location - to visit Donegal, Killybegs( eat at the Marina Cafe) and to Slieve League Cliffs. Highly recommend. Grocery store in nearby Killybegs, the seaside fishing town."

"This cottage has a good location between Killibegs and Donegal town. The Top station had excellent facilities next to us. The house was safe and roomy. But, there was not much of a sea view inside or out. Complicated heating system for Americans. The washer and dryer were not where we comfortably could find them without snooping around in another building. For what we paid the furnishings like bedding lacked quality. There could be some supplies provided such as wash cloths in the bathrooms, paper towels in the kitchen and not a lot of toilet paper. Overall we expected a view and with the price we expected more quality!"

"We had a lovely stay at this property! It is the perfect combination of a traditional home with all of the modern updates. We appreciated the details of the local art in the home as well as the full set of beautiful ceramic plates and bowls. The detail of the wooden door handles was especially fun :)We had some wonderful meals on the outdoor dining table with a view of sheep roaming the hills behind us.We were traveling with four adults and a baby and there was plenty of space in the living room and dining room for everyone to spread out and be comfortable."

"Such a lovely place with an even more beautiful view! Sipping coffee watching the sheep graze across the way and the town and harbour below - amazing! Super clean, well appointed and comfy beds. A great home and one we hope we will see again!"

"Loved the remote location and cleanliness. House had everything we needed. We loved the sheep in the road and the twisty drive up to the house. Beautiful view out the front window. Had some wonderful fish dinners at Tara hotel in Killybegs. On the downside the mattresses were not comfortable for any of us. They were thin in the two big rooms and in the twin room it was old style and very bouncy. "
