"The room was ok although as it an unstaffed hotel off season with front office shut and I arrived after 8pm I had an issue getting into it as they had given me entry instructions for one room, then changed my room without updating me. Luckily I eventually met a staff member in the car park outside who was living close by and helped me. Otherwise I might have been looking for another hotel. Parking was easy but there was no breakfast and overall it was convenient for my travels but not much else. "

"To start the rooms were nasty and hair on the beds. Walls look like a muddy dog ran it’s body all over there was soda or wine stains on the floors behind the beds on the floor and when we went to leave we found what we believed to be bed bugs we have tossed all our clothes out and had no way informing staff. We had no internet access in our room and the heater did not work very well"

"Smooth check in and out on line, including room door code. No bathroom fan, got very steamy. Comfy beds, nice view (2nd floor). Great location. Bathroom window, floor level, will not close (frame twisted), held nearly closed by a bungee. 2nd floor and too small for someone to crawl through, but a little creepy."

"The host definitely put a lot of thought into this rental. There are great touches throughout the home-outlets in the bedframes, arcade games, well appointed kitchen, etc. We had a minor issue come up with the bathroom circuit, and they very promptly fixed the problem for us.We'd stay here again. A great little home for families or a small group."

"Charming and cozy, this house was a great base for us during a long weekend with our kiddo and doggo. Nice neighborhood for walking around in, we saw deer everyday! The Blackbeard Brewery is a nice walk and not too far, plus it's a dog friendly place. Everything was just a minutes drive away. The marina area is loaded with eateries and a great view, tons of parking there too! The house has lots of great amenities for humans and dogs. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets. We would definitely come back! "

"The house was much larger than we anticipated and was great for 3 nights hosting two kids, parents and grandparents for a quick trip to Westport. All the rooms were comfortable. One of the most well stocked rentals I have ever encountered...everything was thought of: extra towels, laundry, fans and extra blankets in each rooms, all spices, full dishes and cookware, games. Even blackout shades in 3/4 of the bedrooms.The unit was a little loud through the walls with neighbors and you could tell from the smell that it does accommodate dogs. Not egregious but we are not dog people so we noticed."

"The house is beautiful and very comfortable with a nicely outfitted kitchen. Our family enjoyed our stay with lots of room to spread out and play games. When looking for something, a quick response from our hosts was much appreciated. "
