"I fell in love with this property as soon as I went in. It is in need of some TLC, some bits and pieces are a bit tired looking. That being said, I found it really comfortable with gorgeous views and very peaceful. Campbell, the host, was easy to communicate with, nothing was to much trouble. This was my first visit and hopefully won't be my last. I would love to return."

"We were very pleased with this property. Spacious and well equipped. Lovely welcome package and cosy warm on arrival. It had everything we needed and was central for what we wanted to do. Parking was easy and convenient. We would definitely recommend 1 Marine Place for a perfect stay on Bute"

"We were only at the hotel for one night for a wedding so didn’t use all the facilities. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a sea view which was really nice. The only downside side was my wife found some of the breakfast items to be a bit cold. Both of us thought it was really tasty"
