The staff was absolutely amazing — everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby redwoods and the California coast, which made it an excellent home base for our trip. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and relax, enjoy the casino, and unwind. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!"

We were driving through on a PCH trip and spent one night (May 15, 2026) here because the Holliday Inn didn't have rooms available, and we must say that it was a very nice alternative that we wouldn't have found otherwise because we usually use points to book. The hotel was clean and the room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the desk clerk that afternoon shared some great restaurant suggestions. We are from Texas and might not ever be coming this way again, but if we did, we would definitely stay again. "

"For someone who loves historic hotels, this place is great! The staff was wonderful too! I loved the period bathroom with its updates. Some things were a little run down. The morning muffins were good though packaged. The beds were comfortable, though the room was small. The proximity to the Avenue of the Redwoods was perfect. There is a market and deli right across the street. I would definitely stay here again, given the other options in the area."

"The room was very clean and the staff was great. When we arrived the office was closed and we had to wait to check in and get our room. When making our reservation we requested handicap accommodations. We were told when checking in that it was. It wasn't! The coffee maker didn't work, the television didn't have live local networks, there wasn't an extra blanket. We won't stay again. "

"If you feel like staying somewhere that hasn’t been touched and you just want a bed then this is for you. Our towels were stained, the “breakfast” was a joke (microwave sandwiches and frozen waffles) - they had spaghetti noodles as coffee stirrers. Save your money and drive farther away."
