Our room was very clean. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable. The whole lodge is very cute and well maintained. Staff were very welcoming. Lovely stay at the Lodge and Lantern. Staff was very helpful, complimentary snacks appreciated and comfortable and unique room. Only slight observation is the walls were rather thin so hearing talking between the walls and squeaky wooden bed and floor, I could see some people finding it annoying. However it was completely fine for my needs and not bothersome.

Nice view, decent bathroom, strange layout of room with a tv that was difficult to see as it was partially tucked underneath the stairs to the room’s loft. The room was clean except for a layer of dust on baseboards and exposed ducting high up. The owner/manager was extremely friendly and the complimentary snacks were very much appreciated.

This is a small establishment but because of this the service provided was more personal and attentive than a large hotel. My room wasn’t overly large but adequate for my needs. There are personal touches eg free sodas and snacks which I appreciated. I was also given a card to enable me to buy breakfast at the bakery in Golden which was good quality and very reasonable.
