This is a small establishment but because of this the service provided was more personal and attentive than a large hotel. My room wasn’t overly large but adequate for my needs. There are personal touches eg free sodas and snacks which I appreciated. I was also given a card to enable me to buy breakfast at the bakery in Golden which was good quality and very reasonable.

A nice common room with a coffee machine that dispenses decent coffee. Very helpful and friendly staff. A note - several weeks prior I was sent a phishing email asking me for my credit card details to confirm my reservation Do not do this!

We stayed here overnight while traveling and enjoyed our cool, quiet room. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, recommending a nice riverfront restaurant for a late dinner and explaining all the hotel’s amenities. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely stay here again if we get an opportunity.

A beautiful log structure undergoing upgrades. Friendly staff, well maintained rooms, great outside deck and within easy walking distance of downtown Golden. There is no restaurant or breakfast on site is the only drawback, which is easily remedied. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate a mountain lodge style setting.
