"Place is a little dated, but our stay is still comfortable, waking up to a nice, relaxing view of mountains on the horizon. Onsen needs a refresh, but adequate for now 2 hot pools. We had half board for our stay, breakfast were Japanese fare, pretty decent. Kaiseiki dinner on the second night was much better, than the first. Serviced by a elderly Japanese staff, on the second day, more attentive. So far the staffs in this Ryokan are mostly Nepalese, >80%? Level of service provided by the locals are more better. The local Japanese is more attentive.
Rooms is decent, clean and spacious enough with heater- a/c. Futon were comfortable enough. The hand towels were pretty worn though, and hopefully they can change them."
