Also bring your bikes and enjoy riding along beautiful country roads. Bring sneakers or hiking boots and take to the trails. Wildlife abounds, maybe the aoudad will pay you a visit. Or sit on the porches or covered deck into the evening while you listen to indoor / outdoor surround sound music while taking in the expansive lighted landscape. The Indoor gas fireplace or outdoor fire pit will add ambience while you grill, cook or after returning from the few local restaurants.
Fort Worth dining, arts, arenas and culture is but one hour east. The newest state park is a but a short drive away.
